I lived in summer lack apartments from for six months When I first moved into the apartment complex I was pregnant and showed what appeared to be a nice apartment After staying there for a couple of days I noticed scratching sound and pecking noises in the wall I called to complain numerous times because I couldn't sleep during the evening and morning due to the noise I told them that it sounded as if birds or squirrels were in the wall No on took my complaint seriously in the rental office It wasn't until I emailed and called the Corporate Office to complain and threaten litigation that I was taken seriously I moved out after six months Over a year later I receive a bill mailed to NY for $for a collection agency I never received one letter prior to August stating that I owed any money to the apartment complex Furthermore, I did a walk thru with the current supervisor at the complex and everything was fine I got charged for things that they said were fine when we completed the walk thru During the walk thru of an apartment you check each and every room etc so I don't understand where these charges are coming from When I called the complex to see a breakdown of the bill and to speak with the supervisor the the leasing agent thought it was funny and proceeded to laugh on the phone I would never recommend a friend or anyone else to live there!
