Justin, Southern Homes Heating and Air, inspected the system on a Thursday and determined that there was a small hairline crack in the AC refrigerant line on the outside condenser coil. Due to the age of the system and the unavailability of parts, he recommended replacement of the HVAC system.
He worked with the insurance company providing a quote the same day and a revised estimate before they approved system replacement the next day on Friday, that allowed the the house to be listed that afternoon.
Justin scheduled the system replacement the following Wednesday. They had the system replaced and functioning, the area clean, without interrupting the scheduled showing later that afternoon.
