I received in the mail on 10/20/a letter 9/21/16, but it was stamped and postmarked 10/18/16, describing a claim denial due to conflicting versions of eventsI also received on 10/20/a notification that a certified letter from Southern Insurance is available for pickup at our local post office after am on 10/21/This letter was dated 9/21/
I scheduled the repair work and secured a replacement vehicle rental based on instructions from Joey C***, Claims Adjuster for Southern Insurance, when we spoke on 8/30/The work was completed and the vehicle was ready for pickup on 10/18/16, two days before I received any written notification from Southern Insurance of the denial of the claim, three days before the certified letter of notification was available to me
Prior to my conversation with MrC*** and the letters described above after the repair work was completed, the most recent communication I had was an email from MrC*** also dated 8/30/requesting my ho

I filed a kitchen water damage claim in the beginning of November *** was contracted to perform the remediation work on the projectAfter their demolition work and water removal , they also gave me an estimate bid for reconstruction for $But they could not give me a start date because of their work load
Southern Insurance would only approve reconstruction cost of $When Michelle M*** called me with her "settlement disclosure" she told me that she was withholding $until the reconstruction was completed
Michelle told me to send her a picture of the compleated work and she would send me the balance due me of $and I even verified the amount several times with her during our conversation
I was able to secure another construction company that could do the work right away with little waiting
The reconstruction has been done and I have sent M*** an E-Mail with the compleated workNow M*** says she is only sending me a check fo

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
While I have now received a settlement offer from the company, it was accompanied by inadequate and insubstantial documentation, and the company's offer is only slightly over half of an independently determined diminished value by a professional appraiser I have requested that the company explain how they came to their, much lower, figure, however the representative declined to make any substantive explanation, and simply repeated their initial offer
I believe this behavior is consistent with that reported earlier, and is simply intended to either avoid or delay making reasonable and fair compensation in good faith.
Regards,
Dr Braddlee

Southern is the insurer for the at-fault driver in an accident where my car was struck from behind on 10/20/ While Southern has accepted liability for the accident, and has paid on repairs to my vehicle, they are not being responsive to my claim for diminished value for the damage done to my car I submitted my claim, along with an independent, in-person appraisal documenting the diminished value of my vehicle on 1/7/To date, while Gwen ***, the representative for Southern handling the claim has acknowledged receipt of the claim, there has been no action taken in the three weeks following
