Landlord is attempting to resolve issuesThis can be closed

In over years of real estate rentals business we have never had any complaint from any tenant. We try hard to provide very high quality rentals for a competitive monthly rent. We try to replace / update the appliances
as often as possible. This is the case as well with the condo subject to this complaint. Upon the current tenants' move in date, ALL the appliances were replaced with BRAND NEW and MODERN ones. We have always used a third party (company) to advertise for leasing the condos and another third party for repairs/maintenance. This is the norm in this business and the owner hardly ever meets the tenant in person. So, such a request is really not realistic. We offered the option of two year lease and at a rate below the market for a very updated rental condo. For that we did also replace an older but functional refrigerator with a new one, at the tenant's request. There have been a couple of instances where the maintenance company was late in addressing some minor repairs, but that was in good part because it has been difficult at times to get a hold of the tenant in a timely manner to schedule appointments. She specifically requests evenings or weekends, which is not always easy to do. She has not always returned the maintenance person calls in a timely manner. We (the landlord) have personally been involved in addressing the tenant's concerns for the better part of the last months and we have followed with her via phone / e-mail to make sure everything was to her satisfaction. The tenant indicated in several reply e-mails that she was very happy with the repairs and the looks of the condo. Then all of a sudden we were contacted via e-mail that the tenant would like out of the two year lease. We replied that if everything we have tried to do to make their stay as pleasant as possible in the condo (freshly painted and professionally cleaned, all new appliances, new water heater, new ceramic tile around the fireplace, etc.) doesn't seem to be to their satisfaction, we have no objection and we would allow them out of the lease with no financial consequences. To our total surprise, the day after we informed her of this (which was right after she sent the-mail), she filed a formal complaint with the Revdex.com and specifically indicated that the desired settlement was to terminate the lease agreement early. We had already agreed to that, so we are totally puzzled as to the actual intentions by filing the complaint. Since this complaint is now on record, we feel that we have to explain our side of the story. Now, things get even more interesting, as the tenants contacted us not even one week after filing the complaint and indicated that their circumstances have changed and they now want to complete the two year lease. Actually she said "we're stuck with one another". We signed a lease agreement in good faith and despite all these we intend to keep it. So, we told the tenants that they can continue to stay through the end of the lease. However, we feel that we are being taken advantage of here and we are having a hard time understanding the purpose of all this. First, they weren't quite happy with a two year lease, but now they seem to all of a sudden be happy with it, even if we had no objection to them leaving early. The tenants must have realized the real value of their lease agreement and must like the condo or else nothing really makes sense. We'll let whoever reads this be the judge. Thanks
