Dear [redacted],

work has been completed. The homeowner has been able to occupy the space and use the shower since January. We were not aware of items that needed to be fixed until May of 2015 when I came out to visit the homeowner. In May, the customer contracted us out to install carpet in her basement and we gave her a credit for the carpet in lieu of the inconvenience she experienced from the bathroom remodel. [redacted] was contacted over the summer and I have been personally in touch with her husband to attempt to schedule a date for install. We arrived yesterday to take care of the items and we are currently working with her to complete the remaining items that have already been completed by our company but not to [redacted]'s satisfaction. Although we were scheduled to come out in the morning as requested by [redacted], we were flexible and arrived in the afternoon as she requested. We certainly try our best to appease our customers and although we do not feel [redacted]'s claims are not unfounded, the project has been completed according to contract and the maintenance items are something that we will be more than glad to take care of. If Mr. and [redacted] has any concerns, they know that they are more welcome to address them with me directly any time either at our office at [redacted] or my cell at [redacted].
Sincerely,
Anthony O[redacted]

The issue is still not resolved. Due to the history that I have had with this business, I am not going to make any final payments until this work is completed to my satisfaction. As the owner stated in his reply, we have been able to use our bathroom since July, however it was not completed and the original contract had a completion date of April 29, 2015. Through this entire process this business has always been able to contact me. attention in July). [redacted] has had complete use of her bathroom and we have contacted her three times since July. The $325 bill was only part of another bill which was due to us. Because we did not get a response despite our several attempts to contact her, we sent her account to a collections agency which prompted this letter and a response back to us. Since getting in contact with [redacted], we have scheduled the replacement drawer face installation and to take a look at the pipes for her.Sincerely,Anthony O[redacted]General ManagerSouthern MD Kitchen Bath Floors & Design

I would not even give this place a 1 star. I am so displeased with this company it is even funny!!! I got my SMALL bathroom redone and was told it would take 2 weeks to do. Doesn't seem too bad right? Well after waiting since May for them to even come out here and now it is September, they took a full 5 weeks to do my bathroom. There were days that we were told someone was coming so we waited around all day for no one to even show up. Not even a courtesy call. There were a few days when they showed up but there was no evidence that they did anything. My mother stayed here everyday that they were here and one employee even made a remark about having to drive all that way for just 45 mins worth of work. Very unprofessional. Anthony, the owner of this whole company really needs a class on running a business. He started out really good in the beginning of the process with picking out everything in the shop. Once the project started it all went down hill. He does not know how to run a smooth operation. Not to mention there was NO communication. I had to call the shop EVERYDAY to find out IF anyone was coming the next day. I should not be calling you. You should be calling me with the plans for the following day. There may be 3 contractors worth anything in the whole company. So whenever the owner decided to send them to our house they were spending most of their time cleaning up the mess ups from the workers before them. Again, that took up way to much unnecessary time!!!! So as it got closer to the end Anthony came out to see what all was left to do. I showed him everything that I had concerns about and he wrote them down. One major concern was how messy the bathroom was from all the work that was being done. I told Anthony that I wanted it cleaned up. I want my EXPENSIVE bathroom to look like what I picked off the showroom. His words were "We do not do that. We are not Southern Maryland Bath, Kitchen, Floors and CLEANING company." WOW did he really just say that to me??? You are the owner correct??? VERY UNPROFESSIONAL once again. He also told me that my bathroom was a construction sight. Ummmm yeah when you were working on it. Not once it is finished. He did however get HIS cleaning lady out here to clean my bathroom. Through the whole process all he could say was I am sorry over and over again. Enough with your empty apologies. Just finish my bathroom and do it the right way the first time!!! This company made me so sick to my stomach and made me such an angry person, I would NEVER use them AGAIN!!!!!! I could probably go on for days about every little detail about why NOT to use this company. Not to mention they are definitely over priced. I hope my experience can at least save someone else the frustration that I had to go through. Do your self a favor and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!
