Complaint: ***The information regarding my mother's death certificate was available on April 5, 2018, not April 13th as stated in their responseI spoke with the corners office on the matter and spoke with a nice lady and was informed that no attempt was made to contact her office by the funeral homeShe also informedme that my mothers info was filed online on April 5th and available immediately there after thier response is full of lies not factsI had several voice mails that were never returned as wellI should have had the certificates within weeks not if they had done the job I had paid for.

filed and ordered the death certificate assigned electronically by the Hinds County Coroner’s Office on April 13, The vital information was placed on the certificate immediately and it was filed with the state of MississippiThe order for certified copies was placed and the copies were then express mailed to *** ***. Death certificates average four to six weeks from the time of death until deliveryFamilies are known to become upset with the funeral homes because they take longer than usual from time to timeIn this case, the hospital and coroner’s office were called multiple times regarding the status of the death certificateEach time, we were given another number to call in attempt to sort out who was responsible for certifying the certificateEventually, Hinds County Coroner assigned and certified the death We are sympathetic and understand completely the importance of sorting legal business and settling estates after the loss of a loved oneWhile we are apologetic that Mrs.*** was so upset, we do feel she was given the best service we could have provided.
