After some communication Southern Motors has contacted this customer and explained that he can come in to receive a goodwill check for $whenever he would like We do not want to take anyone’s money without providing a service, but we did have to hold a car for over a week for this customer This occurrence was unfortunate, but we do not ever take a refundable deposit unless there was something that we did wrong during the purchase process or the vehicle has been damaged In this case, the customer left a deposit to hold a car and then did not contact us for over week This customer may have been misinformed by someone at our store that we do hold cars for customers and reimburse the deposit, so we will comply with his demand We are sorry this transaction happened and we will wait to hear from the customer to get the goodwill check Please let me know if there is anything more that I can do

They cheat and lie in order to sell carThey don't care about what they put you throughOne of the manager told us: - HOW YOU DON'T HAVE GOOD SENSE AND TO KNOW WHAT THE CAR DEALER WAS NOT TRUE! We had the worst dealer ship experience ever we do not recommend at all

This has been the absolute worst car buying experience I have ever been throughMy initial dealer was *** ***, extremely unprofessionalThey have the most unprofessional way of doing business, which is via text messageYou text your friends and loved ones, you don't text your bankI understand that it's but, some processes we should never loseI text him to call me, he calls and says "what's up"We're not friendsI immediately tell them I want another salesman, one that is going to get the job done professionally and they give me *** *** was A LOT better than *** but, unfortunately, he couldn't do the deal aloneThere were many hands of people that apparently don't know what they're doing at Southern MotorsI finally get the car and *** *** was able to secure the 2nd key for me after he said the car only came with oneFast forward days since this deal has been done and I STILL do not have permanent plates and registration/titleI contact the DMV who then researches my vin numberGuess what?! They have not received the paperworkAt this time, I am fuming and smoke is coming out of my earsI call the dealership to speak with the title, tag processor, *** ***She tells me that the DMV does have the paperowrk and that it was received and signed for on Wednesday the 31stI then say to her but, you never sent me a tracking number for this and that's what I requestedShe then says to me we handle paperwork in the order it comesdays later and you're just now getting to my paperwork? InterestingI am very confused as to why I was unable totake all of the paperwork to the DMV myself to circumvent this new headache I have from Souther MotorsI was told it was to protect the interest of the lienholderThat's the biggest bunch of bs I have ever heardI am now really po'd and tell her to transfer me to a mannager, the owner, anybodyI don't care but, I want answers, and resolution to this issueI then receive an e-mail from *** *** with a tracking number and where my documentation was sentI respond to him to please call me as I am not going to discuss this business via telephoneSouthern Motors now wants to say well, it's out of our hands and now DMV has to handleJust like a simple car deal took them days, DMV has a timeline as well, There are million people in NYC, that's just common senseI then call to speak to *** and *** the initial guy I dealt with that I said I wanted nothing to do with wants to play on the phoneThen the GM *** *** calls and wants to roll in the mudI work in Corporate America in NYC so mind you, I do not care what a customer says because, oh yeah, I work in Sales too, I am professional at all timesHe continued to say that the company is years oldYeah? No kidding it is ran like thatPiece of advise to anyone looking to purchase a car at Southern Motors Savannah, DON'TGo to Atlanta and buy a car, you may get the treatment you deserve when spending your moneyI would not send a person looking to buy a go-kart hereWorst business period, I've ever dealt withBuyer Beware
