Review: I PURCHASED A BRAND NEW OUTBOARD MOTOR TOHATSU 15 HP FOR A BIT UNDER $3,000. I TRIED TO USE THE MOTOR TWICE, AND NEVER LEFT THE BOAT LAUNCH. I RETURNED THIS MOTOR 3 TIMES TO SOUTHERN OUTDOORS, TRIED TO SAY I USED WRONG GAS. MOTOR STILL DOES NOT RUN CORRECTLY, PIECE OF JUNK. I FEEL I WAS LIED TO ABOUT TRYING TO FIND THE PROBLEM BECAUSE I WAS A WOMAN. THIS BUISNESS STOLE FROM ME AND AS A BUSINESS OWNER, I WILL LET EVERYONE KNOW ABOUT THE CROOKS AT SOUTHERN OUTDOOR MARINE. SHAME ON YOU FOR SELLING ME A PIECE OF CRAP, SHAME ON YOU FOR NOT FIXING THIS SUPPOSEDLY NEW MOTOR, SHAME ON YOU FOR RIPPING ME OFF FOR $3,000, I SHOULD HAVE SUED YOU BEFORE THE TIME LIMITATION WAS UP !!!Desired Settlement: REPLACE THIS PIECE OF JUNK

Review: Boat sent in for repairs in June 2013 @ their Houma la location. It was in the shop for a month to have the power head replaced. I was called to pick up my boat they said repairs were all completed. I then travel from Mississippi to pick it up from Houma la which is a 3 hour run. . Put boat in the water for a test to find No hoses are connected, throttle is not connected, several other parts are not connected. I then call them back to be notified that the head mechanic did his part by putting the parts in but there was a lack of communication with the next mechanic who follows behind him for completion to hook up the rest of the parts. he was not notified to follow up on this service so I was called to pick up a boat that has not had complete service done. I make another 3 hour run to put boat back in the shop, Get it back its pouring out oil everywhere and running sloppy .They then send tech to my home I am so disgusted wasting my time burning gas. tech takes boat back its in the shop for 2 months. comes out again leaking gas all over. Now were in September, JUNE- September. we are in November now and I am still feuding with them to have it repaired .I WILL MAKE SURE I LET EVERYONE KNOW NOT TO USE THIS CO. BOAT IS STILL NOT RUNNING PROPERLY AND I CONTINUE TO HAVE TO CALL THEM AND THEY ARE POOR AT RETURNING CALLS AND WANTS ME TO KEEP BRINGING THIS BOAT TO THEIR LOCATION WHICH I REFUSE . I DID IT TOO MANY TIMES ALREADY. They collected over $800.00 for these repairs also.THANK YOUDesired Settlement: I feel when something has been tampered with this much and not been done properly from start to finish it will be nothing but trouble.Everything should have been hooked up in sync from start to finish not guessing what the other person has or has not done. I feel like either they should either give us a new motor if they cant repair this one correctly and make it like new. I have been without my boat for half the year already. Very dissatisfied customer who has sent them lots of business.
