The first issue to be addressed is the fact that the complaining party is a vendor in the industry and in no way should be considered a consumer And, it should be noted that the complainant made no reference to any issues or complaints from the actual consumers, the homeowners whom we actually did the work for Therefore, since this is actually a business to business matter, I'm not certain this qualifies as an issue for this forum In that vein, I respectfully request that this complaint/file be removed from our highly valued record as an Accredited member of the Revdex.com.With regards to the facts,, the complaining party was working with one of our Area Managers, Mr***, who has since left the company Mr [redacted] had worked with the complainant prior to joining Southern Painting when he owned and operated his own painting company Our arrangement with Mr [redacted] when he joined Southern Painting was that he would be payed a premium for business he generated from relationships he had established prior to joining Southern Painting It was anticipated that he would, in turn, compensate any third parties with whom he had previous working relationships who contributed to generating opportunities for Southern Painting Obviously, that didn't happen.Southern Painting has a long history of working with both consumers and industry professionals in building our reputation for doing what we say we are going to do when we say we are going to do it This includes honoring our commitments, especially with regards to our referral programs Therefore, we will be mailing the complainant the $in question and will address the issue directly with Mr***

It has been over two weeks since the business stated we would receive a refund and we still have not gotten it

I checked with the bookkeeper and she indicated that the check will be mailed today Our accounting person was off all last week, had it in her stack for today and will mail the check with today's mail.Sorry for the inconvenience
