I entered into an agreement with southern pride roofing (hazel green) on April 27, to perform roofing, siding, gutter, and screen restoration services on my home, sunroom, and shed After receiving a partial payment in May, 2018, southern pride has done very little work Southern Pride has been extremely difficult to contact by phone Calls to Mr*** (owner) have not been answered and often intentionally rejected on his cell phoneCalls to alan (salesman and point of contact for job) does not answer calls, does not have his mail box set up, and rarely returns from his caller id*** (office man) has given his private phone number and has tried to coordinate work but the information he tells me is not accurate as to what is actually happening Several scheduled appointments for work completion with *** have not been kept and no notice has been provided by southern pride or *** that the appointment will not be kept This restoration effort keeps slipping and my effo

Southern Pride Roofing did a great job on my houseThe roofing crew was very professional and experiencedEveryone knew exactly what to do and worked from dawn to dark completing 95% of my house just in one dayI recommended them to my neighbor who also received hail damage and would recommend to anyone without hesitationGood Job!

This is one of the best companies I have ever had the pleasure to work with and would work with them again if the need arisesChris *** was professional in the most like-able way possibleThe crew did a great job and "cleaned up after themselves"!!! Brian *** was so understanding when I called him to check out his company, I truly enjoyed speaking with himSpecial thanks to both Chris and Brian for treating me so generouslyCheck them out people because I have not seen a lot of good and honest businesses in my lifetime

This is in response to customer concern ID# ***, submitted by *** ***.Thank you for bringing this to our attention and allowing us to respond.We were referred out to the *** residence on 8/1/for water damage to the home caused by a water leakWe had the appropriate insurance
forms signed to begin drying out the homes areas affected by water damageThese forms were signed by Mrs*** who was very pleasantWe collected a $deposit on the $deductibleThe insurance companies claim representative showed up and said that we were doing exactly what we should be doing to dry the home out and prevent potential mold from the water leak.On 8/2/in the afternoon I received a call from Mr*** who was irate, using harsh language, threatening to sue us, and stating that we’d have to sue him if we expected to receive any money from himI explained to Mr*** that we had no desire to sue him, and explained the importance of having his home dried out properly within hours or there was the potential for mold growth from the water damageI explained that his responsibility would be payment of the deductible and the balance of payment would be negotiated between us and the insurance companyMr*** said he didn’t care, that the insurance company wrote him a check and he wasn’t paying us, so I might as well come and pick up my equipmentI again stressed the importance of drying it out completelyHe said you can do what you want, leave your equipment or pick it up, but I’m not paying you, and he hung up the phoneAt this point we decided to leave the equipment in place to dry it out properly, even with the expectation that we would not be paid.On 8/3/at approximately 7:am our Project Manager received a call on his cell phone from Mr***Mr*** was using harsh language from the time he said helloMr*** began threatening him and told him that he unplugged our equipmentHe said that if we don't pick the equipment up right now he will be setting it out on the curbThe line then went deadWe informed the insurance company claims representativeAt this point we instructed our service technician to head over and pick up the equipmentI instructed him to be very professional and politeAfter he picked up the equipment he called surprised, to let me know that the ***’s had endorsed the insurance check over to us for payment in the amount of $And that Mrs*** would be calling me to make a payment towards their deductibleShe called me, apologized for her husband’s behavior and made a credit card payment towards her deductibleMrs*** again was extremely pleasantI informed the insurance company claims representative that they had signed over the insurance check to us and told the claims representative that I would consider that check and their deductible as total payment.We determined that after we left on 8/1/the insurance claim representative provided a check to the ***’s for what he expected the cost of repairs and restoration would total, $1363.32, less the ***’s deductible of $Thus from the insurance companies point of view, the “undisputed” claim/cost would be $Total amounts received were $2063.32.I will issue a credit memo for the outstanding balance and consider this account paid in full.I’m happy to provide the insurance company claim representatives contact info to verify my response and his experience working with Restoration and Mr***.Sincerely,*** *** General Manager
