I had an Ultrasound done and the hospital sen it to Southern Radiology Associates to read They send me a bill two moslater with big red line stating FINAL NOTICE with the promis to send it to collectionsThis is upsetting as I didn't receive the first billI feel they are into scare tactics to get paid quickly!

Failure to correctly file for insurance coverage
On Sept 6, I had two diagnostic medical tests performed at Marshall County Hospital They contracted with Southern Radiology to read the results Two claims were submitted to my insurance carrier One was paid immediately and one was denied because "THE CLAIM WE RECEIVED DOES NOT INDICATE THIS SERVICE WAS PROVIDED FOR TREATMENT OF AN ILLNESS OR INJURY AND THEREFORE, WOULD NOT BE COVERED BY YOUR CONTRACTIF THIS SERVICE WAS RELATED TO AN ACTUAL MEDICAL DIAGNOSIS, PLEASE HAVE THE DOCTOR RESUBMIT THE CLAIM INDICATING THE MEDICAL DIAGNOSIS(CARC: ) I received an invoice from Southern Radiology stating I owed the full amount of the charges, $ I called them, then the insurance company, then called them back with this information They stated they would refile the claim I didn't hear from them for months Then in late August, 2017, I received another invoice I called on September 14, and spoke with a custo

We have never heard of this company at allThey are now calling and asking for payment and we have no idea what they are billing forThe charges are from 9/27/Really this is There is no explanation of what the charges are forThe bill is saying it is days past dueReally? We only received the first call in February and now telling me we are days past dueI do not feel like I owe these people anything since they can not tell me what it is for only that I owe them moneyVery poor business operations

Southern Radiology is a nightmare to deal with! If you find a medical facility using their services I would think twice about even allowing them to provide my anesthesia servicesThey claim they sent me one bill (saying my insurance had denied my services), for a surgery I had in Springfield, TN in March of I never got the billThen they sent it to *** collections*** collection office is the one who gave me this information about my insurance supposedly being deniedAfter checking with my insurance company, last month, they told me it should have been covered and to have Southern Radiology rebill itI told my insurer Southern Radiology had vanished and there's no way to reach themThey lost their contract with *** Hospital in Springfield and then disappeared off the radarI then called *** Collection and explained Southern Radiology just needed to rebill my insurance but *** was EXTREMELY rude to me and said it was too bad, it was too late now, that I owed for it and it's my fault for not getting back to them in The problem is, until I was applying for credit in September that I even knew this was on my record! I wonder if Southern Radiology and *** Collections might be in cahoots with one another?

Company refusing to bill insurance correctly

During a hospital stay in March of 2018, Maury Regional Medical Center used Southern Radiology for my xrays Got a bill from them with a due date of April Since I had full insurance coverage and my deductible had been met, On April, I wrote to Southern Radiology in Columbia, TN asking for the reason the claim had been denied No response So, on May I sent a registered letter to their Indianapolis office That letter was signed for by MrMatthew S*** on June Still no response Southern Radiology did not send a 2nd bill, nor did they call me Instead they turned my account over to a collection agency in July
I had the same exact problem with Southern Radiology in Took me over a year to get them to file correctly with my insurance and to stop the collection order on my account
Terrible company with lazy billing department and very poor customer service!!
