On 1/14/20 Dr. *** submitted a claim to Anthem BCBS
for services that were not rendered
This visit was only a follow up appointment from the First visit in October
I paid $40 copay before being seen, also Dr. *** charged another copay
On 3/9/20 I spoke with Amy in billing department
she confirmed Dr. *** notes indicated Procedures Rendered beyond just a follow up visit
I have also filed an appeal with Anthem BCBS of a false claim Dr. *** submitted
Refund Refund benefits back to the insurance company
Apologies for the delay in responding to this information but we are in the middle of this Covid-19 pandemic. According to our documentation, this process was completed by the physician and verified by our clinical staff. We would be more than happy to discuss with patient.
