Review: I contacted this business thru the yellow pages and they came out and quoted me the cost for the job. I signed a contract with Southern Residential Construction for 7,870 which was the quoted price.I have given them 6,500. to date. This business then contracted another business to dig out the area needed for 1,500. That is all that has been done to date. Southern Residential Cons. Has purchased no materials or done any labor at all. Timothy Southern which is the business owner will not return any my calls. I went to the address he listed on the contract and have never found him or his eqipment there. It appears to be a home address but I have found no signs of him there. He told me up front I would pay the money in 3 draws which I gave him 2. He ask for 3,000 at the signing of the contract. After he got the digging contracted out he ask for another 3,500 which I did to total 6,500.I still owe 1,370. What are my options at this point to get this job done?Desired Settlement: I want them to do the job that I contracted them to do or refund the remaining 5,000 that I gave him to do the job.
