IF THERE WAS MINUS STARS, I WOULD HAVE CHOSEN THAT!
I would not recommend dealing with this company! They have jacked me around for well over a month. I had them come out to my house b/c of water damage. I needed dry wall repair, painting and flooring replaced. I was told that they would send out someone with tile samples. After waiting this long, through many emails, texts, because for the most part, that is how this business does business...I get a call saying they would be out in 3 days to complete the drywall and painting and they wanted half of the money up front. I called the owner, Dan *** and told him I was confused, because I was told by, Paul ***, that, there would be someone that would come to my house and show me samples of tile (which I explained earlier what I was looking for). I didn't want to go through a bunch of people and go to home depot and pick it out myself. Dan proceeded to yes, yell at me, telling me I could go with someone else and he'd tear my contract up. I am not thrilled that I have had a gaping hole in my wall for over a month. However, if I am getting such horrible service prior, I could only imagine how horrible the service and the workmanship would be!
The above comments are exactly why we as company decided not to work with the customer. After a meeting and several phone and email conversions with the customer, we determined she was going to be difficult to work with. Paul informed her that we would not be able to bring tile selections to her for her to choose. There are to many options in tile for us to guess at what she may or may not like. It makes more sense for the customer to go to a tile store (that will have all options available) for them to choose the tile selection.
When the customer started getting upset because she wasn't getting her way, she was told that we would tear up the contract and she could move forward with another company. After she was told that, she preceded to get angrier and ultimately ended the conversion by abruptly hanging up the phone. If there was any yelling from either party, it was certainly on her end. We had no reason to yell or be upset since WE had already decided not to work with this particular customer.
Yes, we as most companies in todays digital environment communicate via email. We use a software that tracks the emails and stores them, which is required by most carriers that we work with. It also helps protect companies from customers like this that make baseless claims to try and slander good companies that try and do things the right way.
We were referred to Southern Signature Group by Flood Masters. On completetion of installing our hard wood floors our toilet was leaking. Once my husband called and spoke with Dan G he was extremely rude and refused to acknowledge that our toilet was broken during the installation of the floors by his workers. As a new first time home owner it is extremely terrible to have a recommendation and then have the person whom you have been communicating with you treat you so rudely. I would never recommend this company to anyone else.
Repair We would like the toilet fixed.
SSG has spoken with Mr. and he has informed us that everything was completed to his satisfaction.
The toilet was fixed the night he called about the problem. He also apologized for his wife filing this complaint. He acknowledge that Dan G was not rude on the phone and handled the situation properly. Mr. also informed SSG that the final payment has been mailed.
