In regards to the following complaint# submitted on 7-13-First and foremost Mr.*** never contacted us in person regarding the cost of his tire installationWe were contacted by a former employee and customer Mr*** *** with whom Mr*** works withMr*** asked
how much to do the job we told him it was hour labor per tire plus balanceThe labor rate is$75.00/hrMr *** verified that this was expressed to Mr*** in front of another employee at their place of business, and has signed a statement expressing soIn fact because of Mr*** and his relationship \:vith us we only charged :v!.r *** hrs to do the job as noted on the repair order enclosed,not hrs as originally quotedThe repair order is broken down as tallows hrs labor$balancing product $15.00, tire disposal fee $xfor $5.00, a miscellaneous shop charge of$charged to every repair order for use of miscellaneous products, chemicals, and tools and sales tax for a total of$This is $less than his bill would have been with the original quoteIn our defense the flat rate time for this job as per *** *** is hrs per tire as seen on enclosed flat rate manualUpon Mr*** dropping the machine off nothing was said to the owner who wrote the repair order about how much he was quoted or that he didn't want to pay the disposal feeThis would have been noted on the repair order and charged accordingly so this never would have happened In regards to the additional work we supposedly charged extra for, the chain was tightened and lubed which is done on every machine in for a rear tire at almost any dealership and no extra charge was assessedThis is included in the tire change labor chargeWe also adjusted the free play in his clutch lever, this takes only seconds to do and is not notated on the repair orderTins was a courtesy and just explained to the customer we did soRegarding the driving complaint, every single machine we work on is driven on average between to milesThis is done to verify the job was done correctly and there are no problems If .Mr*** would have expressed the fact that he didn't want his machine driven we would have refused to do the jobIn regards to the scratches on the wheels, this was brought to the attention of management and the owner before the job was startedDue to the fact thatthe machine had evidence of being dropped already we did not document thisThis is a fail on our part but unfortunately we cannot prove the scratches were there previously and Mr*** cannot prove we scratched themThis puts us at an impasseHad Mr*** mentioned to us the problems when picking up his machine we would have taken care of and or explained everythingEven though he was charged less than quoted if he felt he was being overcharged we would have honored the price he"says" he was givenInstead Mr*** proceeded to bad mouth our dealership and staff online, and turn us into the Revdex.comThe moment we saw the bad review we attempted to contact Mr*** on several occasions to resolve this situation but he will not answer or return our callsIn light of this andnot giving us a chance to defend ourselves we feel as though we are being manipulated to refund his money
