Ms [redacted] at first declined the diagnastic service to remedy her dash lights being out and check out her hid headlight. After we did her oil change she changed her mind and decided that she did want us to perform the work. I asked her if she could drop off her car and offered her a ride home. I...

explained to her that even though she did not have an appointment we would be able to get to her car and do a diagnostic service after my techs got caught up on the work they already had. She said she had plenty of work to keep her busy and that she did not mind waiting. I repeated to her that it could easily be a few hours and that the $69.95 diagnostic fee only covered the cost of the work to assess the problem and that after we found out why her dash lights were not working that we could give her a cost on the repair. She was polite and cognizant. In do not know why she came in the following day and was so upset. I tried to help her. but she would not let me. thanksDavid L[redacted]

the clock spring has nothing to do with your car not starting that's a separate issue, you needed your clockspring replaced for the horn and other buttons to work on your steering wheel.  You never paid us and we never charged you to look at an intermittent no start.  We did as a courtesy...

look at your car and could not get it to act up.  I told you I suspected your cloned key might be causing you this problem but with out catching it in the act I don't feel comfortable guessing at a fix for a problem that we could not verify.  Again we have not charged you a penny for work related to this issue. please come and get your truck I can only recommend that you take it to the dealer.  Thanks David L[redacted]

I really do not understand why Ms [redacted] is stating that she believe that she was misled or bait and switched.  I no that is not case, furthermore I know that I spoke to her and explained what we were doing and for how much money ahead of time.  That said if Ms [redacted] wants a refund of the 69.95 diagnostic fee and if that will put this matter to rest than I will give her a refund of the $69.95 fee She can contact me at the store 216-921-3440 or she can call my cell 216-235-7040.
