this is the most unprofessional and undeserving company I have ever dealt with, not just in regards to waste management
SWS does NOT care about their customersmy experience is not unique, as my neighbours have said they will not renew the contracts anymore eitheri have never posted a review about a company before, but I am so disgusted with the complete and utter negligence of this company that I feel it is my duty to warn people to stay far far far away
here is an outline of my experience and the important factors:
dumpster not being emptiedsimple as thatthey skip weeks, where they don't show up
there is ALWAYS someone on my farmi mean always: I live there, and so does my staffso when I call to inform them and they say that no one was there to open the gate, thats a lie
I didn't always have a gatetheir staff wrote down in their notes, several times, BEFORE I HAD A GATE, that it was lockedexplain that to me?
when I had the gate installed, I left a giant sign on it with my phone numberso, on the off chance that I was at the far back end of the property (its acres btw, hardly a large piece of land), I would be able to open it immediatelywell, instead of calling, they would leave
after the first time I complained and they said it wouldn't happen again, it didin the span of months, they missed SEVEN weekshow do I know? it was in their records, the secretary informed me herself that she saw there were weeks where the dumpster wasn't emptiedshe saw the notes about how the gate wouldn't open, and when I explained that for the first two months I didn't have a gate, she brought it up with the managerthe manager for my area (West Palm Beach) finally agreed to give me a discounthe didn't offer it, I had to call back times (over two weeks) for him to finally realize I was seriouseven then, I never spoke to him, only his secretary (always saying he's busy, hell call you back)i asked for less than half of those weeks back (aka pickups credited)he never got on the phone, btw, the manager to this day has never spoken to me OR any of the clients that have had issues (i speak for myself and my neighbours)
when the credit never showed up on my bill, I followed up months later (i thought maybe it had to go through some head office sort of deal, so I waited, trying to be patient)when I called back, I got the same secretary, who pretended as though we had never spokenwhen I told her she was the one who told me it was weeks missedshe pulled up the file, and told me there were no notes of the sortyep, THEY DELETED THEIR OWN FILES
I canceled the dumpsterthey picked it up FIVE WEEKS LATERi called when it was there after two weeks and they said they were very busy that monthokay, no big deal for me, I understandweeks later, I called back, and they came the next daythe woman remembered me that time, and said they were not gong to charge me for that month and one weekNO KIDDING!! they're lucky I didn't charge them to store the dumpster at my place!!
I tried to report the situation to head officei was confident that when the people in charge heard my story, and I could pass the phone to of my neighbours (as in on my street), they would realize that their "managers" were atrociousnobody ever called back
I honestly can't believe how utterly disrespectful these people are
main problem #1: of course their own employees are going to write down notes with excuses removing the blame from their own negligent way of behavingi can't write the notes down for them, I can just call and inform them of the situation
problem #2: not listening to customersi wasn't the only one who calledit became the running joke of the street "whose dumpster do we think will get emptied? so whose should we throw our garbage into? LOL"
problem #3: they deleted the history on my file and one other personsactually deleted the record showing we'd called in and complainedso if you went back, there were just the employees made up excuses like "gate was locked" even though I didn't have a gate at the time
you could hire an untrained monkey to dispose of your garbage and get a better result

I finally requested to be let off the contract but one of the company's owners threatened to take me to court and make me pay for the rest of the 3 years left in my contract (over $5,000).
