On 1-7-20 I took my porter cable FC350 framing nailer to be repaired by Gotham tool repair which is now known by SouthernCarlson ,Dropped it off with the understanding that labor was $55.00 Hr for hard repair and $22.50 for a easy repair I said that's fine and they will call me with an estimate, few days later they called and said it would be $55.00 labor plush 2 o rings at $15 dollars per o ring be around $93 dollars with tax I said ok fix it said it would be about a week and it would be ready so a week goes by and I call and they say it needs a Housing Cap Gasket Ok How much $22.50 labor and the part around $40 dollars ok fix it ? So a few days later I get a call and now it needs a collar total price around $123.00 dollars , so a few days later my son was in Fort Myers and stopped in and talked to the person who was working on the tool it self and talked with him and he said the cost to repair it would be $22.50 in labor and with parts around $40.00 dollars So whats going on here ? So on 1-31-20 I get a call that it's ready to be picked up the cost $93.20 , I go to pick it up and question the person behind the counter why $93.20 and why I was quoted so many different prices and parts for the repair $93 dollars $40 dollars whats going on here $50 more then when my son talked to your repair man two days ago and when you all called me with a price , he said if u don't want to pay for it I will take the part out and u can leave I never said I would not pay for the nailer just want to come to an agreement on a price here , he said take it or leave it I own that gun till u pay for it never did I refuse to pay for in fact my debit card was on the counter all the time, I said I can call FMPD and we can have them settle this or we can right here it's your call my card is right here by then he became very angry and started to use foul language told him to take my card and I would report this to business to the Revdex.com with that he became even more agitated with that he took my card I paid and left
