I have been going to Dr M [redacted] for years & trusted them to take care of my teeth & gums I go every months for cleanings, they do X-rays yearly as well I was never told that I had gum disease, they did not check my gums at any of these cleanings to measure them even though it was more than obvious that my gums were recedingI floss daily & brush regularly, thinking that was all that was needed When my insurance changed I looked for a dentist on that plan & scheduled an exam After being at this dentist (Dr [redacted] ) for less than minutes, I was told I not only have gum disease & bone loss, but after doing the measurements of my gums I also have deep pockets, one being a '10' & several other deep ones that need immediate attention A week later they did a deep cleaning on one side of my mouth, both top & bottom that took over minutes & the other side is scheduled for next week This cost me almost since my insurance does not pay for this Also I may still need to see a specialist in order to save my teeth if this treatment does not work & even then there may not be a guarantee they can be saved Dr Ryan M [redacted] office had numerous occasions to recommend treatment that could have slowed down or possibly reversed the condition that I now suffer with the bone loss & gum disease but not one of them cared As a doctor of dentistry Ryan M [redacted] in my opinion has failed me as his patient by not doing what a dentist should do, try to assure my oral health & inform me of any ongoing problems, he chose not to for some reason!! I would only hope his hygienists would have had enough integrity to step up & do their job by telling me but they too ignored my issuesDuring my time with Dr M [redacted] I had the best insurance plan & it would have covered much more of this dental work, now my insurance is not as good & I am responsible for alot of this expense I feel that not only did he let me down, but his entire staff did too Each time he came in to the exam room & checked my teeth he told me that everything looked good - this was a total & complete lie! Why would he do this? The excellent care & concern I have received from Dr Jeffrey G [redacted] & his staff has been over the topI am so thankful that I found a dentist & his staff that truly cares about their patients!! This is a serious complaint against Dr Ryan M***! I put my faith & trust in him & his practice only to be severely let down!!! I wonder how many other patients he is neglecting in his practice as well!!!
