Dear [redacted] , I am writing in regard to your letter dated 10/18/16, received on 10/24/16, regarding complaint number referenced above Southside Auto Reconditioning, Inc has been in business for yearsWe operate a detail shop as well as an auto body repair shopCustomer satisfaction is very important to us and we stand behind our work This car was brought in on 09/12/for a complete detailThe car had recently been stolen and recoveredThe car is a black car, and black cars can be difficult under the best of circumstancesOn 10/06/16, the customer called and complained about the exterior of the carWe rescheduled him for 10/10/When the car came in on the 10th it was full of leaves and twigs and muddyWe buffed the car and hand waxed itThe car still had some swirl marks and scratchesWe offered to continue to work on itWe believe that the problem may be the clear coatThe clear coat on the car appears to scratch very easily even with a soft clean cloth We cannot be sure that the door ding happened in our shop since the car was out and about for daysIt could easily have happened somewhere else Our equipment does not have moving parts that could snag the upholsteryWe have never had this type of problem with the many vehicles we have cleanedOur capibilities are to clean the fabrics and not restore damage which may have been caused by the theft of this car It appears that we can do nothing to satisfy this customer.We re prepared to refund the entire $that he paid for our services Jerome [redacted] W***, President

very important to us and we stand behind our work. 
This car was brought in on 09/12/16 for a complete detail. The car had recently been stolen and recovered. The car is a black car, and black cars can be difficult under the best of circumstances. On 10/06/16, the customer called and complained about the exterior of the car. We rescheduled him for 10/10/16. When the car came in on the 10th it was full of leaves and twigs and muddy. We buffed the car and hand waxed it. The car still had some swirl marks and scratches. We offered to continue to work on it. We believe that the problem may be the clear coat. The clear coat on the car appears to scratch very easily even with a soft clean cloth.
