NO Advertising issue, no Customer service issue, no guarantee and no Warranty issues… IT’S all customer issues! Customer Scam, Scam, trying to pay less for top quality work . Customer called in a few times to get a quote for pricing and made an appt. for Tinting the rear windows only, never the...

front doors. Customer assumed were included. When appt. date arrived customer was upset because she wanted all the windows Tinted for $169 and was explained again on the pricing. She never mentioned she wanted the front doors Tinted over the phone. Customer never mentioned front doors when made appt. But customer still decided to Tint the rear 5 windows on her new [redacted] accord for $169 and signed Authorization for the work to be done. Every customer has a choice… Make your choice and don’t complain about it later.. Customer also wanted to add front doors but wanted us to match price from husbands previous tinted car by us for $220 and said we should match the price because her husbands car was more expensive then hers. We told her we couldn’t because we don’t charge by the value of the car, we charge by the size and quantity of the windows it has. A few customers will try to include the front doors, when calling in for rear window pricing only. NO SCAM Honest work done and honest pricing. Customer still complaining and arguing price issue, but still authorized to add front doors to receipt, $70 additional and agrees on the price again. She said one of the workers was going to match that $220 price, not true the employee was going to ask but no guarantee, didn’t promise and employee has no authorization to lower price, and couldn’t. But customer still authorized work to be done. Meaning no problem everything fine. Until she picks up the car and only tries to pay $220 and says that’s all she has, nothing more. SCAM, SCAM and again SCAM… Really on a new car, were we did top workmanship, top quality film and at the best shop in Sacramento. There are more shops that charge more and use lower quality film and bad workmanship. That’s the reason you bought the car to use and all your previous cars to get Tinted here. Here’s an explanation why we couldn’t match your husbands car. You husbands car window tinting price is for a 2 door coupe, and the [redacted] accord is a 4 door sedan. He has rear wing windows and you have wing windows too but with full roll up doors. Rear 5 windows compared to rear 3 windows on a coupe. Remember quantity and size, it gets priced not value of car!! Also we run different specials threw out the year. You kept arguing and arguing that his car was more expensive and yes it is very much and that’s how you can tell we are Honest and been doing window Tint for 27 years. We didn’t charge him more and we don’t take advantage of woman like you said we do. We have a huge female customer base because they trust us not to be overcharged. But you kept getting madder and madder because you didn’t have it your way so you charged the remainder price of the receipts, which was $19 dollars, yes $19 dollars for your car with more windows not bad price, but not to you. After you paid you threatened us saying you were going to put a bad review on yelp that it would Hurt our business because we didn’t give you the $220 pricing. Not fair and not right by customer. This situation is plain and simple.. Customer agreed on price, price on receipt. Customer signed receipt, customer added front doors for additional amount and signed receipt. Once every 2 months there is a customer that tries to scam us… All customer have choices no excuses. Not because you had to leave out of town or what ever your story is. You have CHOICES, PLAIN and SIMPLE.

In Response: To this customers experience at Southside Tinting & Tunes, we strive to offer the best product and service to all our customers. In regards to [redacted]'s experience the time given on completion of his car was a rough time not an exact time of about 2 1/2 hrs. The customer knew and...

acknowledged and agreed we would give him a call when nearing of completion of the car. When [redacted] arrived to pick up his vehicle he became very adjective, disrespectful and very Rude, because his car wasn't ready and him knowing he didn't receive a call as he was told he would receive when finished. He also started very loudly talking about his personal issues, because his car wasn't ready and it was going to cost him money and continued on be rude, car was finished paid and left after about 20 minutes of his arrival. When [redacted] returned the next day for tint touch up, he continued on be rude and impolite, touch up was still done and he left. A few days later he came again to complain about the bubbles which weren't any and it got explained that window tint can not be 100% perfect and not 100% flawless as he wanted it to be and then again [redacted] continued to be even more louder and disrespectful and using foul language and coursing and the owner. [redacted] also started tell customers entering the business not to do business here, with the rudeness, respectfulness, foul language and coursing. That's why no more service was given. This is the type of man he is, he may get away with this at other major stores but not here. Like he said(Boat has shipped) and he's all alone in it...

Business states, "If he does not want to bring the vehicle back here to fix the tint, under that warranty he can call the 1-800 number and find another location to fix the issue. The warranty expressed on the card applies to the actual manufacturer of the film of the tint. Consumer is given the option to take it to any business that carries that specific brand of film so the warranty can be honored. The consumer issues do not pertain to the actual installation performed by the business, actual issues are regarding dirt specs that the business has no control over."

Review: Multiple Complaint Types: Advertising Issue, Customer Service Issue, & Guarantee or Warranty Issues. I received the worst customer service experience ever from Southside Tint! I called on Monday, 6/6/16 to get a quote for window tint for my BACK and FRONT windows and the owner tells me they are running a special and it all depends on what kind of car it is. I tell him it’s for a [redacted] Accord and he tells me they are running a special right now for $169, comes with lifetime warranty. The original price is $239 without the special. I schedule an appointment because the price was amazing. Well let me tell you... that price was way too good to be true! Scam!!!! So I brought my vehicle in on Wednesday, 6/8/16 and [redacted] told me it was $169 for the back and an extra $70 for the front which is a total $239. I told him I spoke to the owner and he told me there is a special right now for $169 and the original price is $239. [redacted] disagrees and tells me $169 is only for the back windows. This is definitely false advertisement to get me in the door. This was not what I was quoted on the phone and I made it clear I wanted all windows FRONT and BACK tinted. I decide to go ahead and get only the back windows done for $169 and the question you might be asking is, why? Why did I still decide to tint my windows? Well, I’m driving to Anaheim, Ca today 6/9/16 and I do not want the sun beaming on my daughter's face. I know I should have left and went elsewhere, but because I needed my windows tinted ASAP I decide to do it. Plus, my husband had his car windows tinted here a few months prior. I leave my vehicle there and go home. I tell my husband I decided not to get the front tinted because it was way too expensive and not what I was quoted on the phone. I find my husband's receipt from Southside Tint when he got his car tinted there not too long ago (2015 [redacted] 650 grand coupe) he paid $220 for the front and back windows. How did I get quoted $239 for a [redacted] accord when my husband paid $220 for a [redacted] grand coupe! The owner said the pricing depends on the type of car right? It doesn't make any sense. Shouldn't my husband’s car have costed more? I call and spoke to [redacted] and tell him that my husband paid less and he says okay he will match the price! Because [redacted] told me that he would match the price my husband got for $220, I decided to get the front windows tinted also. I tell him to go ahead and do the front and back for $220 and I confirm with him the price for $220. I go in to pick up my car and hand him $220, [redacted] tells me that its $239? Seriously? I called you and you confirmed with me that you can match the price my husband got for $220. He tells me that I can’t get my car unless I pay the $239 at this point I had no choice. I needed my car! Once again, false advertisement and bad customer service! I was extremely upset and I told him that I would not have tinted my windows here if I knew this is the type of service I was going to receive! I mention that I will be posting a [redacted] review and I definitely will not refer anymore friends to them. Please keep reading because it gets better! [redacted] tells the owner what I said and the owner comes outside where I was standing with my daughter and starts threatening me! The owner tells me if I write a bad [redacted] review he will cancel my lifetime warranty and he didn’t need my referrals. I could not believe what I was hearing! What type of business does this to their customers? I was lied to about the price, over charged, and threatened by the owner that my lifetime warranty was going to get canceled if I wrote a bad [redacted] review! Once I got home, I wrote a [redacted] review because I want everyone to know the type of services they provide. I am now assuming my lifetime warranty will get canceled, but I do not care because the service I received there was beyond horrible. I will never go back to that place again. There has always been a stereotype that females get ripped off, over charged when dealing with anything related to cars and that is still true today, I was over charged, received bad customer service and threatened that my warranty would get canceled if I posted a bad [redacted] review. It doesn't end here. I tell him the owner the reason why I was so upset, because I spoke to [redacted] and he agreed to match the price of $220 and that’s why I went ahead and tinted the front windows. I wouldn't have done it for $239. I was upset about the false advertisement; over the phone they told me $169, when I went in it was $239, but my husband got his tint for $220. The owner did not believe that I called and the worker agreed $220 so I walk inside to confront [redacted], but of course he denies it. He claims he said he would try to match it. All Lies! The only reason why I went ahead and tinted the front windows as well is because [redacted] agreed to match the price! After all this, the owner still stands there and tries to continue to argue with me. At this point I was extremely upset so I tell him to strip the front tint. The owner says I can, but you’re not getting your money back. This has got to be the worst customer service experience I have ever received and because I was a female I was overcharged, ripped off, disrespected and threatened. I want actions taken against this business for the false advertisement, horrible customer service, and being threatened that my lifetime warranty would get canceled if I wrote a bad [redacted] review.Desired Settlement: I want actions to be taken for the false advertisement, overcharged and threatened by the owner regarding the lifetime warranty.
