We have reviewed the complaint and spoken with our site DirectorSouthside Christian Childcare has a strict payment policy that is made aware to all of our customers before they retain our servicesOur payment policy is included in our parent handbook which every parent is asked to sign saying
they agree to our policies prior to enrolling their child at one of our facilitiesHowever, we do feel there was miscommunciation and that Ms*** was not treated fairly and should have been given ample warning to find alternative childcare for her sonIn order to remedy the situation we are going to do what she asked and send her a refund check in the amount of $that would cover two weeks of childcare costsWe apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused Ms*** and her family

Immediately upon receipt of client's concerns, several attempts were made to contact the customer via telephone to resolve any issues, to no avail. While I can not speak to this child's illness directly due to confidentiality reasons, I can respond by saying that Southside Christian Child Care
and Preschool follows regulations set forth by the State of KentuckyIt is possible our persistence that a child be seen by a doctor might be perceived as rude, however, we will always put the child's health and welfare first and foremost. The director waived the required two week notice as a courtesy, when the parent informed her the child was with**awing for health reasonsThe final receipt was mailed to the client.Without a doubt we know that whenever children are together there is a chance to spread infection be it in child care, schools, church nurseries, grocery stores, birthday parties or home daycare centersWe take every precaution to prevent the spread of illness with proper hand washing, sanitizing, disinfecting, exclusion of children that are ill and ensuring children are immunized.Upon the parent notifying the director she was missing one bottle, the director purchased two bottles for the child in an attempt to resolve the situationThe nipples sent home were the ones that came with the two bottles purchased by the director in good faith, without knowing the child was using size nipples.We are truly sorry that we were unable to meet the needs of this customer in a timely manner and that we did not have time to replace the size nipple with the size nipple prior to the child's withdrawalIn an effort to repair the damage, we are sending a care package to the family to include the missing *** size nipple, assorted baby care items, children's books and a Starbucks gift card for the parents

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.One bottle was gone and they never found it! Another bottle came back with another child's nipple in it! So that makes it one bottle that needed replacement and another nipple. Since the bottle she bought came with size one nipples that will make the replacement of the nipples two! The reply stated there wasn't time to replace the nipple but it had been weeks that I kept asking the director and she always had an excuse so don't lie by saying there was no time because after my child left this lady was blatantly disrepectful to me and there is no apology from this daycare regarding that. Her telling me that my child left without a two week notice is her rea[redacted] for not replacing the nipples has not been ad**essed at all! This place does not exhibit any level of Christianity at all and I will make sure my reviews are written on any platform I see. Because the director at the [redacted] location was no longer receiving a $135 check a week from me she thought she could speak to me in any manner and I do not appreciate it one bit. Never has she cared about my child's health cause it's really about the money but she forgets that she needs to develop good relationship with parents whether they are current or not because that is what being professional is about. Say what you mean and mean what you say! I had contacted the corporate office and no one ever got back to me. Not once have they called and left me a voicemail so the message regarding me not responding to their calls is a flat out lie! I tried contacting them myself before even filing this claim
