Review: I sent my son to a post graduate program and the program did not provide anything it stated, Now I can't get a refund.

I am the mother of [redacted] Archer one of the students who applied to attend the SWA

Due to in proper documentation we were refused entry at the border which led to me

And my young son was emotionally distracted by the whole incident.

I had call [redacted] at10 pm at the border to say that [redacted] needed an I120; he did not return my call until 7am the next day. By this time we were sent by taxi to the Canadian border and had to wait until 3am to get on the next coach back to Canada.

Not only did we miss the orientation for the families, **. [redacted] failed to even show any sign of remorse for the difficulties we encountered.

As if this was not enough, due to the presentation that was held he did not send the letter for [redacted] for USA immigration until late in the evening, when we got to the airport [redacted] was not able to take the flight which was originally booked for him due to the same reason as previously at the border on land. Thank God I had stayed at the airport my son left [redacted] and arrived in VA at 1.00am. **. [redacted] had promised his driver would pick [redacted] up but due to the mishaps, [redacted] had to the public transport at 1am to get to the Hotel.

Put all this aside, since [redacted] arrived there has not been anything productive done for him, they are left on their own, the team is not complete, the whole program is disorganized and I am very disappointed.

I would like the money that was paid to Academy back, as it did not meet what was promised. I am a single mother, a brain tumor survivor I have worked too hard to have the little bit of money saved for his Post- secondary education to be taken freely.

Also my son did need an I120 in order to be in USA as an international student, even though **. [redacted] said they are not school, however on his website it says they will be taking ACTs

There is a little bit of dishonest in this whole situation.

As the board of director and am not sure if you are a parent you must understand my dilemma, I did not send my child all the way there to sit in a hotel room not doing anything When my son spoke to **. [redacted] he told him he will not get any refund back and to inform me not to call him. The Coach is prepared to give money back to the other kids but not my son. I don't understand how he justify reimbursing some according to his text to my son "You left program, you voided contract don't contact us again" quote. "You didn't read it or sign it remembers. My man don't text me again and tell your mother same " Nothing is changing." He took my hard earn sweat of $4100 and did not provide a service.

That is not the way to run a business; it's more like a scam of young hopefuls. Me nor my son signed any contract on the agreement in fact Coach [redacted] did not even collect any forms from [redacted].I am prepare to take any legal action to retrieve my money back.

But I hope and pray to Almighty God that I serve, who has never failed me that we will not need to take this whole issue any further.

I myself provide a service to the public and I know when I have not met what I promised I don't hesitate to give refund, especially when I clearly know I am in the wrong.
