The claim is not to fix hail damageThe claim is to fix a cricket that was installed
incorrectly between three roof lines that congregate in a single pointThere is no snow/ice barrier in the corners which is not evident from the visual inspections by the city inspectorsTwo independent roofers have inspected the roof and found no other damage to the roof other than around the improperly installed cricketThere is a physical gap between the cricket and the three roof lines where the shingles have NO supportThe roofer that they sent to make repairs damaged the roof further by stepping through one of these unsupported areasHis boot went right through the shingles! He then patched it with clear caulk (not roof grade adhesive)The builder refuses to come and view the roof to explain his subcontractor's repairs or explain to us how this cricket has been installedOur calls are not returned, our emails are not answered, we were not informed that the roofer was coming to the house or we could have prevented the further damageWe will NOT stop until this has been resolvedWe request that this be escalated to the next level
