Dear Revdex.com of New Mexico, Thank you for your correspondence regarding a concern from Ms [redacted] *** Her daughter has come to our early childhood program for two years, as she states Our teachers love her daughter After reading her statement, one of our managers, MsMaria H [redacted] reached out to Ms [redacted] immediately They had a very cordial conversation, and Ms [redacted] stated that she really loves our center but she is concerned because her daughter seems to be the victim of biting and other instances where she feels her daughter has gotten “hurt.” MsH [redacted] explained that when a child moves from a toddler room into a two-year-old room, children are more mobile but do not have language to express their feelings This often results in biting, pushing and hitting It is a developmental stage, but that is little comfort to a mom whose child is the one who is getting “hurt.” We work very diligently to keep these episodes to a minimum, however they are part of the learning process Our job is to help children discover and learn other ways of expressing their frustrations MsH [redacted] assured Ms [redacted] that she would receive a full refund for her unused services, and told her that she was welcome to return if she so desired in the future Ms [redacted] picked up her check in the amount of $from the center as she requested We appreciate the Revdex.com helping us to resolve this issue Thank you, Sondra C [redacted] Executive Director

Dear friends at the Revdex.com, It is sad and unfortunate when a dispute over payment can motivate someone to make accusations against an organization We take every complaint very seriously, and in this case we can unequivocally say that the injuries described in this woman's letter are and inflammatory Our early childhood program has clear and fair policies and procedures We give each family a handbook and they sign a contract during enrollment that they have read, understood and agree to the terms This woman signed this contract, which enabled us to accept responsibility for her child The contract also spells out very clearly our policies regarding payment for our services Unfortunately, this woman thought that our rules did not apply to her She felt that she could pay us whenever it suited her, and she refused to work with us on a fair and equitable payment plan After trying to work with her for three months, she became increasingly belligerent and we had no alternative but to ask her to seek alternate child care arrangements for her child We understand that today's economy makes it difficult to afford high quality care and education, and would like to point out that the state of New Mexico was paying the lion's share of this woman's childcare She would not, however, cooperate with us on the small co-pay and tax obligation to the state Her child was a pleasure to have, and it is our sincere wish that she find a program for her that better suits her financial needs

Dear friends at the Revdex.com, As you know, we have been in business for over thirty years We take our responsibility to the children and families we serve very seriously The health and safety of the children in our care is our utmost obligation.Due to HIPAA laws and to
protect the privacy of our children, we cannot comment specifically regarding this particular family We disagree with everything that has been alleged. Our policies regarding contagious illness is given to each family when they enroll They sign that they have read, understand and agree to our policies This family signed this document. While we are saddened that this relationship did not endure, we wish this family well

Dear Revdex.com of New Mexico,

Thank you for your correspondence regarding a concern from Ms. [redacted].  Her daughter has come to our early childhood program for two years, as she states.  Our teachers love her daughter.
After reading her statement, one of our managers, Ms. Maria...

H[redacted] reached out to Ms. [redacted] immediately.  They had a very cordial conversation, and Ms. [redacted] stated that she really loves our center
but she is concerned because her daughter seems to be the victim of biting and other instances where she feels her daughter has gotten “hurt.”
Ms. H[redacted] explained that when a child moves from a toddler room into a two-year-old room, children are more mobile but do not have language to express their feelings.  This often results in biting,
pushing and hitting.  It is a normal developmental stage, but that is little comfort to a mom whose child is the one who is getting “hurt.”  We work very diligently to keep these episodes to a minimum,
however they are part of the learning process.  Our job is to help children discover and learn other ways of expressing their frustrations.
Ms. H[redacted] assured Ms. [redacted] that she would receive a full refund for her unused services, and told her that she was welcome to return if she so desired in the future.  Ms. [redacted] picked up her check
in the amount of $120.77 from the center as she requested.
We appreciate the Revdex.com helping us to resolve this issue.
Thank you,
Sondra C[redacted]
Executive Director

Dear friends at the Revdex.com,
It is sad and unfortunate when a dispute over payment can motivate
someone to make false accusations against an organization.  We take
every complaint very seriously, and in this case we can unequivocally
say that the injuries described in this woman's letter are...

false and
inflammatory.
Our early childhood program has clear and fair policies and procedures.
We give each family a handbook and they sign a contract during
enrollment that they have read, understood and agree to the terms.  This
woman signed this contract, which enabled us to accept responsibility
for her child.  The contract also spells out very clearly our policies
regarding payment for our services.
Unfortunately, this woman thought that our rules did not apply to her.
She felt that she could pay us whenever it suited her, and she refused
to work with us on a fair and equitable payment plan.
After trying to work with her for three months, she became increasingly
belligerent and we had no alternative but to ask her to seek alternate
child care arrangements for her child.
We understand that today's economy makes it difficult to afford high
quality care and education, and would like to point out that the state
of New Mexico was paying the lion's share of this woman's childcare.
She would not, however, cooperate with us on the small co-pay and tax
obligation to the state.
Her child was a pleasure to have, and it is our sincere wish that she
find a program for her that better suits her financial needs.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
Obviously whom ever wrote this response in not aware of the circumstances I have encountered and the events that occured. I have called the center numerous times to get a letter from the Owner with specific information regarding why both of my children were disenrolled without notice, even though my daughter had no "illness" and I had proper documentation to prove my son was not contagious. While I did sign the policy regarding "contagious illness" and am aware that it does say to bring in proper documentation to which I complied with. I do want an answer to why my children were disenrolled within an hour of being dropped off. I understand that the buisness is obviously going to "disagree" with everything I allege because they are a business and do not want to lose customers; however what they did was wrong and discriminatory and I will not stop fighting for my children until I get answers. When a child has an illness that is technically not active but still in their system for at least a year and had documentation of that information there should be no reason to disenroll for medical reasons. With this particular infection, which he probably caught from the another child, it does not just disappear. I have worked in the hospitals for over 10 years and I know what HIPAA entails and the need for proper documentation of a medical illness. Not one of my questions has been responded to and none of the allegations presented were false. While there are two sides to every story, this Center cannot even respond accurately without violatating HIPPA policies because they are unaware of the entire situation.  Some things need to be addressed and this is by far one of them. My children will not be discriminated on and that is what this center did. I am not the only one who left due to poor management and there are many other families who are actively leaving due to very similar reasons. Again, I am looking for a letter specifically stating why both of my children were disenrolled.
