Collection Agencies charge interest at the rate of 10% per annum.Consumer was aware of the complete balance (PURSUANT TO CREDIT REPORT)but chose to go directly to Original Creditor and make a partial paymentin an attempt to avoid the collection interest charges.Original creditor was very specific in an email to consumer that only the principal balance is paidThe remaining balance is due the collection agency.The account will be reported to the credit bureaus as "paid in full"once the account has been PAID IN FULL (This includes interest charges)
