Southwest Collision Reviews (2)

We can't recommend Southwest Collision highly enough! These are the most professional, ethical people we have ever come across in an industry where insurance companies and auto body shops are in cahoots to try and repair your vehicle as fast as they can as cheaply as they can. If it weren't for Southwest Collision, our 2014 truck (with which we pull a 13,000 pound RV) would have contained refurbished parts, aftermarket parts, and would not have been repaired to factory recommendations. We would have been put back on the street with an unsafe vehicle. Southwest went above and beyond what you would expect an auto body shop to do. They dealt with the unreasonable insurance company on our behalf; refused to do unsafe repairs; kept us informed so we could keep our attorney informed; and welcomed us warmly any time we visited to check on the progress of the repairs. The repairs, paint, and detailing are top of the line; and the employees, from the top down, are professionals who take pride in the work Southwest Collision does. We would never consider using anyone but Southwest Collision for our auto body needs.

Review: Fist of all, I'm happy with the body work done on my truck, and I have told the company that, to the guy in charge of my case, the admin that answers the phones and the follow up calls about the service.

BUT, they left the seat belt bolt off and the jack bolts off (located inside the cab), both of which are safety issues and I personally corrected those issues with out even bother them (not to mention the razor blade stuck into one tire and screw into another, and these are $400 apiece, luckily they are not leaking at this point ). The Air Horns, that are located under the bed of the truck no longer function. I spent two hours attempting to repair them but it appears there is power to the compressor and solenoids. The company had the bed of the truck off so they were in and around the air horns, compressor and solenoids. The horns were functional when I dropped it off, I actually used them that morining, and within a day or so of getting the truck back I noticed they no longer function. I have spoken with the company 3 times on the issue and to an outside survey company they employ, about the issue. The last exchange was a voice mail left on my phone stating that they felt it was not their issue and they never touched the system.Desired Settlement: At this point I think Southwest is a good body shop, but I think their mechanical work is not up to par. I will personally fix the system myself and just want the whatever failing parts paid for. I don't have ability to leave the truck there for any extended period now that I have new job that is consuming large amounts of time. On top of that, I'm not confident in their mechanical work.

I have spoken with the Production manager and we went through the check in and process photos and have come to the conclusion that:
