I am rejecting this response because:
I can assure you that the way the trip computer is recording the” L/100km” is different than it has for the last four and a half years’ service. Fortunately for me, I do not believe that it affects the performance of the vehicle and is a monitoring enhancement. I have read my “ADDED SECURITY PLAN” and have to disagree with what the Dealer is saying with regards to what is covered by this plan. The ASP does cover “electronic sensors and the electronic instrument cluster”. I would interpret this to also include the computer that controls the instrument cluster.
I have to take exception to the fact that the Dealer explained to me that this was not covered under the ASP and that it was at my expense for service. This was definitely not told to me by anyone at the Dealership and is a fabrication.
I had an experience at this dealership two months ago when the highly trained Nissan Canada Technician put 30 psi in all four tires and the spare instead of the recommended tire pressure of 38 psi as posted on the driver side doorpost.
It is unfortunate that I have such a low opinion of Nissan service at the moment because; I do believe that Nissan manufactures excellent vehicles. It will be difficult the next time I purchase a new car. Should I consider a Nissan??
