Southwest Garage Cabinets Reviews (2)

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
They lied two times in the response.First,
we went to two different store and trying to sell the Morgan and both times they said they knew it was an o over s after we told them that but still insisted that it was common and worth dollars They also called us to refund the money and told us they over charged us now they are telling you it really was worth The salespeople are the companies responsiblity not mine as the consumer Second, we understand supply and demand but the gold market is significantly higher today then it was back then Their explaintion is not valid We also understand the spot price is already taking supply and demand into concideration That how they get the price Simply economics How they responded is how they run their business They lie and cheat innocent people They will most likely sell that Morgan again to someone else for cheating them as well This whole thing could be resolved if they give me my money back or store credit for the whole price price for the 1/gold eagle
Regards,
*** ***

To whom it may concern, My name is Elisa M*** and I am the Vice President/Director of Operations for Treasure HuntI am writing in response to complaint #*** that was submitted by Mrs*** ***. In her complaint, Mrs*** refers to my colleague, Jon W*** as the person with which she spoke with regarding her interest in selling back her 1/10th ounce Gold American Eagle coin as well as the purchase and return of an American Morgan Silver Dollar. I spoke to MrW*** and asked that he summarize for me these two occurrences and was informed the following:Regarding the Morgan Dollar; The “true value” of the coin mentioned truly was the $that the coin was sold for, and ultimately refunded in fullUnfortunately, the sales Consultant that photographed the coin for evaluation by MrW*** missed a critical detail in establishing that price as it was as a type coin, specifically it was an 1882-O over S type, which carries numismatic value for coin collectorsThat detail makes all the difference in the pricing of this coin and was the cause for that pricing confusionWhile I do apologize for the confusion, this matter was resolved right away when it was brought to our attention last year (roughly September 2016) and the customer fully refunded, so I am not sure why that is mentioned in Mrs***’s complaint.Regarding the 1/10th ounce American Gold Eagle; Mrs*** is asking to sell back this coin that she purchased in September of 2014, and is asking for a full refund of the purchase priceWe cannot refund the exact purchase price as the value of gold has changed and unfortunately, as of this moment, the gold market is not quite as high as it was at the time of her purchase nearly three years ago. To help explain, like the stock market, the precious metals market fluctuates constantly based on projected supply and demand estimates for the value of one ounce of that deliverable commodity (gold, silver, & platinum are the three that we primarily deal in) right nowIn accordance with those established values (known as the “Spot price(s)”) our prices are constantly changing and updatingThe price that we buy or sell all precious metals at correlates directly to both the Spot price as well as the supply/demand for the various coins and metals As those increase or decrease, our pricing is adjusted to reflect the market changes, as is the practice for most reputable coin and bullion dealers. I am certainly sorry that Mrs*** felt that she was “misled on the price.” I am not sure who waited on her nearly three years ago now, nor what information the Sales Consultant may have provided, or omitted, at that time about our pricing but I can assure you it is our goal to educate our customers and not to mislead them. I will be happy to answer any questions that she may have to help her better understand the precious metals market should she still be interested in purchasing bullionI can be reached at our South Hills location at ***.Thank you.Sincerely, Elisa M***
