Southwest Greens of San Diego Reviews (4)

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I would like to clarify Mr [redacted] response as many of the details are incorrect No one ever, during the project discussed using class base on our project It wasn't until it was dumped in the street in front of my yard and I questioned [redacted] (the salesman and installer)about it He told me that it was DG and that it just came in different sizes I have that in a text message for proof I even asked him to his face if it was DG and he assured me that it was It wasn't until I had someone with knowledge come by that I found out that it wasn't It was then that I talked to Mr [redacted] and he decided to sprinkle some DG on top of the Class Base Even in Mr [redacted] response he admits that they(Southwest Greens)made this decision without our consent We were told we would get DG and got Class Base While are satisfied with the look of our lawn now, we are unconvinced that it will maintain that look for yearsWe will never be 100% satisfied as I was lied to right to my face and would have never used Southwest Greens if they planned on using anything but DG I do not want to settle this complaint until I have in writing, the details of the warranty Regards, [redacted]

To whom it may concern,Southwest Greens did install a lawn for the [redacted] residence on 7/6/ We did come out and talk with the [redacted] s during the project and after the completion and discussed the base issue There was a mis - communication of verbiage between the sales person and homeowner about the base being used We expressed that the class base was better and that we would install a finer DG material over the top and that was done during the construction of the projectThe class base with a finer DG is a synthetic grass specification used throughout the industry and it actually is stronger than just putting a finer DG down I expressed to the [redacted] s that it would be better to install the class and then install fines on the top We ( SOUTHWEST GREENS) decided during the construction to go this route for a better result We did not know that the [redacted] s wanted just DGThis would give the lawn area a better foundation I assured the [redacted] s that we would stand behind anything we did installed We also after meeting with them and happy with the installation and paying in full, that we would come back in October and perform a free maintenance and fix an edge next to the concrete walkway that they wanted done After we completed everything they said they where 100% satisfied and I told them to let us know if they needed anything else.We will also reach out to the [redacted] family and send a warranty that we will stand behind the turf and base for years as requested.Thank You, [redacted]

To whom it may concern,Southwest Greens did install a lawn for the [redacted] residence on 7/6/2016.  We did come out and talk with the [redacted]s during the project and after the completion and discussed the base issue.  There was a mis - communication of verbiage between the sales person...

and homeowner about the base being used.  We expressed that the class 2 base was better and that we would install a finer DG material over the top and that was done during the construction of the project. The class 2 base with a finer DG is a normal synthetic grass specification used throughout the industry and it actually is stronger than just putting a finer DG down.  I expressed to the [redacted]s that  it would be better to install the class 2 and then install fines on the top.  We ( SOUTHWEST GREENS) decided during the construction to go this route for a better result.  We did not know that the [redacted]s wanted just DG. This would give the lawn area a better foundation.  I assured the [redacted]s that we would stand behind anything we did installed.  We also after meeting with them and  happy with the installation and paying in full, that we would come back in October and perform a free maintenance and fix an edge next to the  concrete walkway that they wanted done.  After we completed everything they said they where 100% satisfied and I told them to let us know if they needed anything else.We will also reach out to the [redacted] family and send a warranty that we will stand behind the turf and base for 10 years as requested.Thank You, [redacted]

I would like to clarify Mr. [redacted] response as many of the details are incorrect.  No one ever, during the project discussed using class 2 base on our project.  It wasn't until it was dumped in the street in front of my yard and I questioned [redacted] (the salesman and installer)about it.  He told me that it was DG and that it just came in different sizes.  I have that in a text message for proof.  I even asked him to his face if it was DG and he assured me that it was.  It wasn't until I had someone with knowledge come by that I found out that it wasn't.  It was then that I talked to Mr. [redacted] and he decided to sprinkle some DG on top of the Class 2 Base.  Even in Mr. [redacted] response he admits that they(Southwest Greens)made this decision without our consent.  We were told we would get DG and got Class 2 Base.  While are satisfied with the look of our lawn now, we are unconvinced that it will maintain that look for 10 years. We will never be 100% satisfied as I was lied to right to my face and would have never used Southwest Greens if they planned on using anything but DG.  I do not want to settle this complaint until I have in writing, the details of the warranty.
