In response to The Revdex.com complaint #[redacted]:   This unit was installed on 05/02/14.   On 5/22/17 a service call was made for the unit not cooling properly. The technician found a bad run capacitor and replaced it. Per Invoice #[redacted], the part was covered under warranty...

and the only charge on the invoice is the service call charge.   On 6/07/17 a service call was made with the complaint being no air conditioning. The technician found the pins in the compressor were blown out and the refrigerant was lost. Per Invoice #[redacted], the only charge on the invoice was the service call charge.  On 6/14/17 a new compressor was installed per the customer’s family’s request. The only charge on Invoice #[redacted]  was for labor and Freon. There was no charge for the compressor.  After installation, no payment was received. Legal actions were taken in attempt to obtain payment of which we were promised. As of today, this bill is still not paid in full. The invoices listed were signed by the customer.   This customer’s warranty only covers parts. Labor, Freon, and service calls are not included with their warranty. The part warranty is from the manufacturer, not from our company. Any company can service the unit and file the part warranty claim. We have attached a copy of this warranty for your files. Since the customer’s information can not be shared the model and serial number on the warranty can be used to confirm the owner and the warranty.   If the customer will agree to pay the remaining balance due in cash, we will be glad to check the unit. The service call to check the unit must also be paid in cash upon arrival. If a repair is necessary, the part will be under warranty but the labor to replace the part must be paid in full, in cash, before the replacement is made.   Southwest Heating and Air Conditioning
