I had been a customer for the past years, trusted the business Until I went in for some trouble I was having with noise in the car, sounded like something was wrong After multiple visits to ask what was wrong with the car, I was told the car was old and that is it, nothing they can find or do On my 3rd return to the garage the *** took the car for a drive He suggested that the manifold needed to be replacedCost *** When I asked about the part being replaced, I was told that it can be cleaned but they would not recommend this as the part can become brittle and break and that I really didn't want this, and if they resolved this issue it would be the best way to resolve the issue once and for good
I spoke with certified mechanics in the area to see what they would charge for a new manifold and to find out what they had to say about this recommendation I was completely surprised to hear all mechanics say that a manifold is NEVER REPLACED!!!! It is cleaned for a total *** I was very surprised that the *** of the garage at Yuille's would recommend a replacement and not expect that I would investigate my options When I said that I would not go forward with the replacement, I was told,"See what I have to deal with" I am thankful that I asked questions, and got answers I was disappointed with the customer service and felt that important information was withheld to make a knowledgeable informed decision for the maintenance of my carI would not recommend this business to those who do not understand the mechanics of their own car
