Southwest Marketing Partners Reviews (2)

Review: I paid $200 to SMP last August to create an Amazon affiliate website for me. The website they created was unprofessional and unacceptable. Amazon rejected the website for their affiliate program. SMP revised the website to look more professional, but did not provide any product insight or reason to visit Amazon, which Amazon requires. SMP scheduled numerous phone conversations between one of SMP's marketing consultants and me, but no call ever occurred at the scheduled time. The website was never re-submitted to Amazon's affiliate program. I have asked for a refund numerous times. The first couple of times, someone would call and try to talk me out of it. Since then, however, my requests have been ignored. SMP failed to deliver the Amazon affiliate website they promised, so I want my $200 back.Desired Settlement: Refund my $200

Review: I was solicited by a representative with Southwest Marketing Partners sometime in November of 2012 via phone call. The representative told me about an at-home online business that I was eligible for. The premise of the business was credit card processing and they explained that I would be able to make a significant amount of income based on a percentage of the total sales made by the businesses that I signed on. On November 21st, 2012 I signed a contract and spent a total of $12,000 with Southwest Marketing via Credit Card. My main points of contact at Southwest Marketing Partners were named [redacted] and [redacted]. They would told me that I would start receiving income within the first 30 days of signing on with them. The first month came and went and I never received any type of payment. Every time I called for a status update on my account, [redacted] or [redacted] would give me a run around, they kept telling me they were working on things and that I had to be patient and that they would give me a status update once things had changed. This happened multiple times and I grew frustrated. I called them, unhappy with the promises they made and were not fulfilling. I called and spoke to [redacted] and told her I was unhappy with what they were doing and that I wanted a refund. It was only after I requested a refund that they started sending me checks. I would get a $50 here or there and all checks they sent totaled less than $300. I tried numerous occasions to ask for a refund on the amount I paid them and they pretty much told me they couldn't do that and I had to stick with them. Southwest Marketing deceived me into believing that I was signing up for a viable, successful business. I lost all contact with them by February 2013. They never responded to any of the messages that I left, soon after their phone numbers went out of service, and none of the letters I have sent have been successfully delivered to the address listed. I never made the type of money that was initially portrayed.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of $1,200
