Ms*** contacted us in mid August in regards to extreme interest in an apartment we were working on and I followed up and showed her the following week where she filled out an application and left it in our drop box. All questions were answered, such as lease term (typically a year) and the
details of maintenance, utilities, etc. She was the first of many such calls at this time. She followed up with phone calls to see if she had the apartment as she was "wanting to know" and was willing to wait until we were finished with it. Approximately a week to a week and a half later I notified her it would be done before the first of October and that we would sign a contract prior to moving in and I would meet to give her keys and go over contract. I did notify her I would need a "holding deposit" as it was later in the year and to "take it off the market" is a loss of potential clients and I would need to be reimbursed for the loss of potential clients and possible vacancy. Which she agreed readily too as she was desiring the apartment. I attempted to contact Ms*** on the 27th of September to find out when we could sign a contract and give her keys and left a voice message. Ms*** called me back after that to inform me that she would not be taking the apartment and was asking for money back. I informed her at that time I would have to look into that. The month of October would ordinarily not be rentable as it was too close to the time of starting and most renters must give a days notice. Ms*** left a message on the 3rd of October requesting money back. Ms*** *** (a woman declaring to be her mother) left a message demanding the money back and threatening with a family lawyer.At any point in time a Customer of ours (or representative) threatens us with litigation, we are through discussing the matter. We typically do not respond to threats or disparaging comments as it involves an unprofessional attitude with our customers. We do have an attorney on retainer that has advised us to this end. We endeavor to treat our customers with respect and fairness. Regrettably, Ms*** did not notify us she was looking at a possible job opportunity to move, as we would not have considered her a candidate for renting. We wish Ms*** success in her career move and we see this matter as concluded

I am an owner of a property that this company managed for me. At first it seemed great. However, slowly but surely my 'fix it' fees seemed way too high, my deposits came late, the books didn't match, and stories changed as to why something happened or didn't happen. This is not an honest company.
