1) The person who oversees maintenance states that SWTDT does not owe the employees or students “[redacted] drinking water” and he fills the water coolers we use from the hose, while he walks around with ice water that came from the refrigerator in the breakroom. Instructors and students are expected to stand outside day in and day out in temperatures above 100 degrees drinking hose water while those in the air conditioned office are drinking cold filtered water or from the numerous pallets of SWTDT bottled water in the storage room.

2) The Training Department manager is a manager in title only. She does not know the first thing about employee relations, employee morale, or how to treat or even relate to people.

3) The Campus Director refers to African Americans as “you people” - this is appalling at best and is beyond unprofessional.

4) Management does not take the time to get to know their instructors and never takes time to interact with them or the students. And then they complain about not knowing anyone.

5) SWTDT passes students who do NOT meet the qualifications of having a CDL, and has graduated students who do NOT understand the English language, a direct violation of the FMCSA book.

These are just some of many concerns I have about SWTDT....many of their employees and students feel the same. SWTDT is a very unprofessional and unethical company and I could no longer be associated with them.
