We used budget vanlines to find a carrierI payed the carrier up front and that was a big mistakeFirst of all BVL said it would take at most days to deliver the items then the carrier SOUTH WEST vanlines "***" the owner himself, said it would take 7-at mostGranted it says in the contract it could take up to "business days", but they both said it would never reach thatWe kept getting excuse after excuse up to the day timelinefirst it was they are behind on deliveries, then they are short staffed, then they faced bad weather, then they stopped respondingNot only that, but they will always find something extra to charge you for and I assure you it is not a small amountThe carrier SOUTHWEST VANLINES will never never ever answer your calls or return your voice mail no matter how many you call themBut wait there is more, since when was taking an elevator more expensive then taking the stairs!!!! Watch out because they also count the steps it takes from where they park their truck to your front door and charge you for thatthen they charge for stairsThey tell you the first flight of stairs (6-steps is for free) and every flight after that is $75!!!!! Really???? When you sign a contract please, please read the fine print and every paper you sign and read the fine line printApparently they will also charge you for the flight of stairs upon deliveryThese companies are unprofessional, even though BVL gets a small booking fee for themselves, the companies they find to do the job are very very poor quality and dishonest peopleYou might as well use a professional well known company such as uhaulTrust me you will be paying the same amount in the end and maybe even lessBut at least you would get your item on time and deal with professional peopleSorry BVL but SOUTHWEST VANLINES completely destroyed your image in my eyes
