STAY A WAY they DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR BUSINESS THEY CANNOT HELP YOU
STAY AWAY - WHATEVER YOU DO - DO NOT SIGN UP OR GIVE THEM MONEY
They do NOT care about you as a person let alone YOUR BUSINESS.
AND THEY REFUSE to let you out of a contract that they do NOT let you read IN FULL, you have to sign each page one by one. Heavy pressuring by Becca Goldsberry, which when I spoke with her on the phone after a presentation thought I was personally signing up with her only to be pawned off on another coach.
1st coach did try to show me ways to generate less costing leads, but she paid extra for the website I only had the FREE version which I did NOT have access to any of the items she was showing me. She quit
2nd coach literally read word for word the module they have laid out in their program in my 1 hour "coaching calls"" twice a month like I was a 2 year old, worst experience
Southwestern Consulting brags about helping you and your business when in actuality they have a cookie cutter program that if you need or not or your business is there or not that is what you are doing
I started end of January by by June I asked to be released and received an immediate & infactate NO, YOU CANNOT GET OUT OF YOUR CONTRACT
Since July I don't use because it does not help my business and my business is now nothing and it is now ruined my personal finances as well. which I have explained countless times to them the detrimental life changing events AND STILL they will NOT let me out of my contract
life changing as in I am going to lose my house, I rotate my most necessities of life electric, water then phone and internet (to do business). I have explained I am selling items just to put gas in my gas tank and I scrounge up coins to buy food $1 or less and portion that food out when I start to feel dizzy and light headed and going to pass out and I get a flippant, "I'm sorry to hear that if there is anything I can do to help let me know" YEAH LET ME OUT of this CRAPPY CONTRACT that I DON"T USE SINCE JULY
BUT BY GOD THEY DEMAND THEIR $599.00 fee and bounced my checking account to get their money.
3rd coach they try to push on me when I told her the above information LAUGHED AT ME and quickly said I will circle back with Becca and got off the phone.
AGAIN IT PROVES THIS COMPANY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS PLUS THEY CANNOT OFFER YOU WHAT YOUR BUSINESS NEEDS IF IT DOES NOT FOLLOW THE COOKIE CUTTER PROGRAM THEY OFFER
NOW every month I ask for an extension and Becca gives me a I'll send to accounting to see if they will approve and let you know, which she NEVER follows back up if my request is APPROVED so every month I wonder am I going to have a ton of late fees and overdraft fees on my account?
AGAIN STAY AWAY, they ONLY STAY IN BUSINESS BECAUSE THEY REFUSE TO LET YOU OUT OF THEIR CONTRACT and the ONLY WAY THEY PROBABLY MAKE MONEY
What I learned is NEVER give money or sign contracts (refuse to sign if you cannot read the entire contract before signing) in the SAME DAY - DO NOT GIVE IN TO THEIR PRESSURE YOU PERSONALLY WILL REGRET THIS AND YOUR BUSINESS WILL SUFFER or like mine be none existent 9 months later and they DO NOT CARE ALL THEY WANT IS MONEY!

The contract that I was forced to sign should not be considered valid. Please cancel the contract ASAP.
In Nov 2019, at my former company, *** made the sales pitch to our team. My manager at the time told us he would pay for it and that we needed to sign up for it. I felt very pressured into signing the contract or be at risk of losing my job that day. I even left the room several times trying to avoid signing. Unfortunately, I still ended up signing that day. A little over a month later, I left the company and immediately told Southwestern Consulting, I no longer wanted to continue. They talked me into trying and while trying, everything I have been promised during that initial meeting has not come to pass. We were told in our initial presentation, part of the cost was because there was several books on tape and they would email the***. This has not happened. When I asked about it, I was told there were no *** and that if I wanted to purchase one of the books it was available on ***. While reading that book, the book is missing almost 20 pages. It goes from page 118 to 135. I was promised an increase in revenue and all that happened was that my "coach" encouraged me to quit my previous employer. I was promised that a "coach" would not be assigned until 11/12 as I was out of town and could not complete the personality test until the weekend prior. I was told this was important so that we could get a coach that was matched to our personality. This did not happened and I was assigned a coach 11/8. I was promised a personalize coaching plan but the other co-worker who signed up, was given the exact same coaching just in a different order. It was like the coaches have a script and they just provide the content that is assigned. I have tried to work this out with *** but was told that I signed a contract and need to stick it out. She was very matter of fact and didn't respond to any of the discrepancies in what I was told versus what has come to pass. Additionally in the contract, there is no formal printing and it is written in that it is a 12 month contract. If this is standard, why is that part written in? I now pay $600 a month for a service I am not receiving.

Desired Outcome

I would like the contract cancelled due to the misleading sales practices. I have not been provided anything that was promised during the initial consultation. My business and revenue have not increased. I was forced to sign in order to keep my job and then was encouraged to quit my job.

"We help people achieve their goals in life."

I was promised that my business would improve dramatically if hired Southwest Consulting for coaching. This did not happen. just the opposite actually
In July of 2019, *** from Southwestern Consulting showed up at my office to give his speech about how his coaching company would dramatically help our sales. I want to be clear, I did not ask him, nor his company to come to my office. That is something that him and my boss had worked out between themselves. He gave me and 6 other agents on my team, in a very close quartered office space, a 30-45 minute speech about how his company has helped thousands of people increase their sales numbers. I admit, I was very skeptical about the coaching program, as I have been given similar pitches like this before. After his sales pitch, everyone in my office, around a table was given contracts by *** and asked to fill out and sign. And this was all done directly in front of my boss. There wasn't any time given to think about what was pitched to us, to contemplate future concerns we might have, or really even grasp all details involved with the contract. *** stood right in the office with everyone, continuing to hover over everyone helping them fill out the information that was need pertaining to the contracts, ensuring everyone that this would greatly impact our businesses in a positive way. He did not leave the office until everyone signed. Fast forward to December 2019. Thousands of dollars has been spent by myself, and everyone else on our team. Needless to say, my sales did not improve dramatically, in fact, the opposite has happened. My drop in sales has nothing to do with my business coaching. I want to be clear about that. But the point is, my did not dramatically improve, in fact, it did not improve at all. My sales have dropped to the point that I can no longer afford the coaching ( that is not helping) of the $600/month. After speaking with *** about my concerns with the coaching, and telling him that I need to cancel my contract due to lack of funds. He stated that there is nothing that I can because I signed the contract. I stated to him numerous times, that the way the contract was presented to me to sign, was done in an extremely pressuring manner, and was not given any time to even contemplate the decision, he stuck to the term, you signed the contract. So I was pressured to sign his contract, I have not even received what was promised, and now I'm stuck paying another $4,300 for services that is not helping me or my business, nor am I further wanting.

Desired Outcome

For my contract to be canceled immediately, and no further charges to my account.

I responded to this email stating that I do no longer wish to continue the coaching program. The very first email that I sent to, them in this regard, stated that I no longer wanted to continue with their services. I will not talk with them via phone because I want all conversations between them and I to be documented.

Customer Response • Feb 01, 2020

Document Attached***
Mica *** from Southwestern Consulting emailed me and told me that they were going to allow me to cancel my contract with the company, and assured me that I would not have any more payments deducted from my checking account. He wanted to speak with me via phone, and I stated that I want to communicate strictly via email so that all conversations would be documented. The last email that I received was from him stating that they were allowing me to cancel my contract, and that he would be mailing me a letter to go over the instructions with the process of canceling. I received a letter from them today stating that Since I no longer wish to stay in their coaching program, that I have to pay the remainder of what my full term contract would have been. $3,594.00 And If I don't pay it within 30 days, they will be turning me over to collections. I find this to be very unsettling. They lead me to believe that I no longer owed them any more money for the services that I know longer wished to continue with their company. Now if I don't pay them $3,594, I will be sent to collections.

Sent to collections without receiving any bills
I was working for a company that was paying for my coaching. I ended up leaving the company and Southwestern Consulting reaches out to me after and I notified them that I'm no longer working for that company and not interested in continuing my coaching program. They called a couple more times asking for updated contact information, which I provided. I notified my coach that I was no longer with the company and he mentioned I could continue my coaching program and I let him know I wasn't interested. He mentioned that someone from the corporate office may reach out to discuss closing my account. I didn't hear from anyone after that and got a phone call this week from a collection agency stating Southwestern consulting sent my account to collections. As I stated before, my previous employer was paying for the coaching, but Southwestern made my sign the contract in my name, however accepted my request to charge my company credit card. Now they're trying to charge me for services I didn't receive after I left the company. I made it very clear when I signed up that the company I worked for would be paying for the coaching program and was instructed to still complete the documents in my name. How am I personally being charged when we agreed that the business would be paying for the program??

Desired Outcome

Do not charge me for the services I didn't receive. Especially since the deal was for my employer to pay for the services I did receive before leaving.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This letter was sent to my old employers address and I never received it. Again, it was sent to the employer bc the employer was paying for the services on my behalf. I received a call from your staff asking for updated contact info including address which I provided. Following that call, I never received another email, phone call, or letter.

In addition, I feel as though I was misled. As I stated, the gentlemen we were working with made it clear that we could have the employer pay for the services, but that the contracts needed to be in individual names so that we could assign coaches to the individual employees, rather than one large account for the entire company. Now I am personally being charged for something that I didn't receive and was agreed upon with my SWC coach/rep that I wouldn't be paying for personally. Bait and switch.

Please note, client *** submitted a settlement payment. His account has been closed.

No increase in sales as promised. Sales program does not work as promised.
Purchased sales coach program 11/2018 with initial fee of $749.00. Paid $599 for three additional months and have not seen any increase in sales.

1/24/2019 - shared with *** M there was no conversion to sales.

3/2/2019 - reached out to representative *** M and explained the program was ineffective and informed him that I could not continue to stay in a program that did not work and was ending my contract. Requested that all future billings be discontinued to my *** card. *** informed me that was too bad I would continue to be billed for 12 months at 50% if I cancelled.

Desired Outcome

No further billing to my *** $2,546.00 already paid Cancellation of contract as outcomes not realized

Hello Bonita,

I've pulled the correspondence regarding ***'s file. Please see attached.

Because she declined all options to continue her program, we honored her request and have processed her cancellation request. Our cancellation policy does go into effect and we are pursuing payment on her agreement balance since she chose to terminate her contract early. I am waiting on Bob Moses' assistant to forward the last correspondence delivered to him. I'll send that to you as well.

submitted an invoice to me for $1050 owed on coaching threatening to turn me into collections
I while working with USA Mortgage had agreed to a coatching program that they anicialy paid for with the understanding that they had special processes and systems in place to help me in the mortgage business. I never saw any special systems or processes in fact I went through 3 different people that they assigned me as a coach. The first quite after 3 months, the second was *** M assistant. Not a coach at all. She constantly would miss calls and wasn't able to get her phone sistem to work. The 3 person I spoke to once he promised to be the one to give me what they offered from the start. He actually was caught in a lie on the first call and I reported this to *** and informed her that I was through. It was at this point she tried to strong arm me into working with her. I've worked with a lot of coaching companies throughout the years and this one is the worst I've ever seen. They actually offer no real solution for you, plan or strategy to follow. I cancelled my services with them back in June of 2018 the company continued to pay them until August even though no services were rendered. At this time I had moved to a new company.

Desired Outcome

I want something in writing stating that they are dropping any amount assumed owed and that they would not be trying to persue collections. If they don't I would be forced to do much more than report them to Revdex.com.

They agreed to drop the charges that they claimed I owed.

I was mislead into signing a 1 year contract believing that I will be getting long term coaching with someone with print industry expereince

I was working with another sales coaching company when I happend to follow one of South Western's coaches on ***. I was a bit intrigued as the coach had previous expereince in the same industry that I am in currently.

After the initial sales pitch from Southwestrn I was hesitant to sign a full year's contract. However, this coach who was in the print industry told me he would provide me with long term coaching, get to know me and my job. He said SouthWestern would track how my pay and commission improved during the coaching.

Less than 4 months later, this coach informed me that I was leaving the company and there was nobody else with expereince in the same industry but that he would hook me up with this other hifi coach.

I feel extremely disappointed. I signed the agreement after false pretenses. I should be able to cancel my agreement if I can't get the type of coaching I was promised

Desired Outcome

I would like them to terminate my coaching agreement and stop charging me.

Southwestern Consulting Response • Feb 07, 2019

Reviewed the clients complaint. Response sent via email. Attempted phone call with no answer or ability to leave a voice mail.

$2495 of charges without my knowledge or consent.
I cancelled our agreement on February 20, 2018 with knowledge that, if my financial situation improved dramatically, I would reconsider starting it up again. I was charged a total of $2495 to my credit card and now I'm being told that I agreed to this. I realized I had $1497 in charges on May 30th, 2018 at which point I sincerely thought it was an error on their part and that it would be quickly corrected. My email stated:

Matt,

I need you to reverse these charges.. And please confirm that charges going forward have been stopped permanently.

These are all charges after our conclusion of the coaching series as noted in the email below. No charges after Febuary 20th are authorized and must be refunded..

Please confirm you're on this. OK? This is very important as my daughter is getting married and I need this dough..

Thank you,
***

However, despite my efforts to get an acknowledgement from Matt V or anyone from Southwest Consulting, my card was again charged two additional $499 charges in July and August of 2018.

As you could likely imagine, I was very upset by this. I contacted Southwest again on August 30th via email and stated this:

Matt,

At no time did I agree to have you charge my account after my notice to you on February 20th.

In fact, I specifically stated in an email to stop all activity until such a time that I agreed to continue..

See the email that was sent to you on February 20th below.

I'm particularly concerned that you have not stated that you are returning my money that was taken without my knowledge or consent.

With this in mind, I am pursing a very valid dispute with my credit card company and they will reverse these charges..

I am appalled.

I can't believe that you and your company would intentionally take funds from me without services provided and without knowledge or consent. Laurie states that I agreed to something. That is absolutely false. I agreed to nothing, received nothing, nobody attempted to reach me. No sessions were scheduled. And no fees should have been incurred. Please look at the two most recent emails prior to a couple of days ago. They are both below for your perusal. You have these in your email box right now Matt. The May 5th email states very clearly.. " Matt,

I need you to reverse these charges.. And please confirm that charges going forward have been stopped permanently. " There is no chance for a misunderstanding here Matt.. Give me my money back..

I will grant you honest reviews on Yelp and every other reviewing service I can find if this is not fixed immediately Matt. This is straight up theft. Nothing else.

................................................................................... /> I have asked my credit card company to reverse these unauthorized charges. However, I have not received confirmation that this has been completed as several of these charges are more than 90 days old.

Desired Outcome

Simply stated, I want my money back. It was taken without knowledge or consent.

Southwestern Consulting Response • Sep 06, 2018

Towards the end of February the client sent an email stating that he had talked with his wife and had decided to stop coaching with me. Following this email the coach and the client talked and the client agreed that cancelling was not the right decision and it was agreed to add those coaching sessions to the end of the 12 month program.

In March and April, the client became un-responsive. Please see screenshots from text messages sent to the client attached. April 30th the client responded via text saying that he was "rockin it" and could we talk tomorrow (May 1st). Both coach and client agreed at 8:30am. The client didn't answer or return the call. Again a few weeks later, the coach attempted to contact and the client did not answer.

Near mid-May the corporate office team and the coach talked about this situation and agreed to place a hold on his account. He had communicated (there is no documentation as to when exactly) that his daughter was getting married and he needed to pause. He was given until mid-July and corporate office setup his payments to resume then. All these details were communicated to and agreed upon by the client.

On June 1st the coach called again, the client didn't answer but sent a text saying "can I call you back?" The coach replied with "Please do." The client never called.

On June 15th the coach tried to call the client again, no answer and no call back.

June 30th the coach tried to call and sent a message to which the client replied with a message containing: "... I'm still waiting for you to give me my money back..." (see screenshot attached). This was a surprise since he had never asked for his money back in any conversations prior.

August 15th the coach called again, he texted back with: "can I call you later?" to which the coach replied: "Yes. Pease do. Let's figure this out."
August 27th the client sends email demanding his money back that day...$2994. Stating that if the money is not refunded or wired that day he will report fraudulent activity.

As of August 31, 2018, this client's contract has been cancelled and 2 months refunds totaling $998 are in process because he has challenged them with his credit card company.

I have received no services. I did not schedule any consulting. I cancelled this on the 20th of February 2018. I did not agree to restart anything at all. I requested in writing on the 20th to stop this. Again, I asked in writing on the 31st of May for the erroneous charges to be refunded to me and confirmed that no additional charges should be made. See attached. Additional funds were drawn out of my account in July and August. It's all bogus.. I am disputing all of these charges. NO services were received..

Customer Response • Sep 30, 2018

I have an update.

Tim N, CFO of Southwestern Consulting followed up on my complaint and recognized the the validity of my concerns and promptly refunds all my money plus some for my time and aggravation.

I am very pleased with him. I never had a complaint about the quality of the coaching. I just had a very hard time putting it on hold for a while. Tim corrected my concerns and I'm very grateful.

This company is not delivering on the service they promised. I feel I was coerced and not given the option to say no before signing.
I was contacted by *** because I was interested in their service if I could afford it. When Michelle Mr called to follow up on my request for a quote she refused to tell me the price until after her sales pitch, even though I asked many times. Once she told me the price I was very clear that I could not afford it. She continued to barrage me with sales lingo and forceful techniques. Since signing my contract, I have been with two coaches, one who could not remember my name and one that doesn't listen when I explain what my needs are. My business is not benefiting and the tactics they suggest are not working for me. I have asked to cancel my contract. This request resulted in an hour long phone call from Michelle where she continually interrupted me and pointed the blame on me for not doing my part.

Desired Outcome

I am requesting that my contract be cancelled with no further charges to my credit card.

Southwestern Consulting Response • Sep 06, 2018

We sincerely apologize for the experience that this client has experienced. This is not our normal customer experience. Our corporate office was already working with the coach to resolve this issue. A call from the corporate office was placed to the client on Friday, August 17, 20*** in an attempt to resolve this situation for her. A message was left and an email was sent but both went without response.

This account would most likely have been closed with a response from the client, however, the client texted with Michelle and agreed to continue coaching with a new coach on the terms that she would be able to interview the coach first. We were more than willing to accommodate this request. This is the latest information based on communication from the coach with screenshots of the text between her and the client.

As of August 31, this client's contract has been cancelled and all auto charges have been stopped.

Customer Response • Sep 06, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I asked to cancel my contract and not be further charged and they have agreed. This is a satisfactory resolution. Thank you.

The contract that they used was old, prices were wrong and it was never signed by them. I cancelled after the first month and was billed for $2000.00
Paying as much as they charge per month just to get 2 phone calls was pointless. They then sent me an invoice for over $2,000 saying that was a cancellation fee. I have a copy of the so called "contract", that has prices scratched out and hand written in and was never signed by an authorized person from southwest consulting. The contract was never binding in the first place. I have asked for a refund and got an invoice instead. If somebody from corporate wants to call be I'd be happy to talk to them. But I need a full refund or I'm getting a lawyer. If you'd like to see a copy of the "contract" that was never binding in the first place you can refund me my money and I'll send you a copy of it.

Desired Outcome

I want a full refund or I will get an attorney involved and go as far as I need to to prevent anyone from using this scamming business
