Contacted *** by phone on 05/13/ Apologized that my wife had not gotten back in touch with her after her bout with double pneumonia My father had a major accident in Fort Worth and passed away while she was still recovering Everything came to a halt businesswise, while we
were gone to take care of the funeral and his estate. *** is not the original owner of the house that she is trying to get drawings for I explained to her that most of the work we do is for builders in the area, and that most of the drawings are used many times, in many locations Her homes address doesn't help me to locate digital files on our computers All our files are listed under builder names, or original owner name, if we designed specifically for an individualWe have been in business for over years There is no way to find drawing files without the names If it was a spec house for a builder, we would also need the exact square footage of the house, because we use that number to replace the owner name. ***'s neighbor gave her a builder name she thinks built the house *** is going to try to get in contact with that builder for the info I need to help her House was built approximately years ago so it might be difficult for the builder to find info even if *** has the right builder Last but not least, I informed her that even if we find everything we need, including the drawing files, she would need to get written permission from the builder/original owner, for me to release the drawings They belong to the builder or original owner of the house, depending on who paid us for the plans. *** said she understood and that she would get back with me when she got the information I needed
