Back in March I purchased 2 slimming packages from the spa(I used 1 of them). I then went back to work and did not have the time to drive out to Cary(and they never had appt. on days that I could come in) anymore. So with being busy from work, kids and life I completely forgot about the $150 I had spent on the package. So last week I called [redacted] to see if I could just get a refund on the unused package. They informed me that they had changed owners and were unable to give me my money back because it was purchased when the old owner still owned the establishment. So we mad arrangements for me to go ahead with using the money for a facial and a massage. So they night before my appt. I called and left a message stating I was not going to be able to come in due to having the stomach virus. I received a call at 9:30ish that came with a voicemail saying that I was going to be charged $80 for the missed appts. First I was never told I was going to be charged a fee if I canceled. So after listening to this voicemail I then called them and they told me that they would give me the full $80 back as long as I rescheduled my appts and came to them. So today I went to 2 of the 4 appt. They girl at the desk told me that they would not be able to give me the full $80 back but they could $40. So now with they other $40 and the $150 for the package that they just can not refund me, I am out $190 for me just trying to get services that I had already purchased. They also said they sent me emails that stated the $20 cancellation fee but I never received them. I asked if there was someone else I could call and talk to at another time and she told me that there was not. The lady that was there this evening did give me $40 in cash.Product_Or_Service: $150 slimming package plus $40 cancellation feDesired SettlementI would like the full $190 that they owe me. I was never told of cancellation fees and I never received the services I paid for and I do not want to ever return to this establishment due them them being very rude and not hold up their end when I was told I would receive the $40 back from them. Business Response Thank you for contacting us. In march [redacted] purchased two packages under the old owner [redacted]. [redacted] was offered store credit for her purchase. I am the new business owner. I told [redacted] I would honor her credit, even though the purchase was even made under my company. [redacted] failed to come to four appointments, and my manager [redacted] and myself both told her we have a charge of $20 per missed appointment. I told [redacted] that we would refund her missed appointment fee at the time she kept her appointments. We refunded her $40 towards two appointments that she rescheduled and kept. We would love to make [redacted] another appointment and also refund her $40 fee when she arrives to her next two scheduled services. However, I can not refund the credit as it was made under an old owner and an closed tax ID number.
