Review: I ordered a deluxe spa cover from Spa Covers Plus on March 31, 2014. The spa cover plus website had "details" link for this spa cover showed a picture with a high quality spa cover with a "Double Ply Poly Laminate Industrial Grade Vinyl" underside, plus some VPP 3000 vapor proof barrier vacuum sealed to the foam cores. When I received the spa cover I ordered, it was an inferior spa cover with a simple breathable mesh underside, and did not have vacuum seal foam cores When I first complained to Spa Covers Plus about the obvious drop in quality mesh underside. I sent pictures and had a dialog with [redacted]. I was offer a new skin. I asked for my labor of installing foam from one cover to other while wondering about quality of the foam cores. Upon my inspection of the foam cores, also documented with pictures, I communicated that I wanted what I ordered or a refund. the response I received back via email was: "Our website states we have the right to substitute for similar or better quality. ... We are now cancelling our offer for a replacement vinyl skin. .. If you try to file charge back on your credit card , accounting will file a lien on your property and it will be on your credit report.Sincerely, Accounting Dept, Spa Covers Plus".I did protest the charge with my credit card company. Before they ruled on the matter, I withdrew from the dispute after receiving a letter from Spa Covers Plus threatening me that I owed more than my original charge and they would file a lien on my property that only they could remove and after August 1, and I would be charged 22% APR plus $300 for lein, notary, interest, court costs and process service of $300.Desired Settlement: I'd like to get what I ordered. I have kept all my records if I need to document anything.

Review: I purchased a spa cover and when it arrived the warranty registration card was from a company in Florida. In order to obtain warranty service the cover would need to be sent to Florida so the cost to return it would cost more than to replace the cover. If I were to be able to return it to Anaheim Hills California it would be affordable. There is nothing on their website warranty info that says it has to be shipped to Florida. I feel that this is a deceptive practice that allows the business to not stand behind their product.Desired Settlement: I would like a warranty card either mailed or E-mailed to be that states the cover would need to be returned to the address in Anaheim Hills Ca. as shown on my invoice. Not somewhere in Florida
