Review: In December of 2013 I purchased 2 vouchers ($80 each) from a Daily Deal website which were each good for hour massage and facial. In April 2014 I contacted the Spa explaining that I did not realize these vouchers had expired on 3/16/14 because my mother had been ill and passed away on 3/16/14. I was told the owner would call me back. A week later I called again and was told the same. I called two more times and finally received a call from [redacted]. She very hesitantly agree to honor the voucher but for only the value. She made an appointment which she then cancelled and rescheduled for 5/1/14 at 12:30pm. [redacted] called me the morning of the 1st to confirm my appointment and I told her Id be there. At 11:45am she told me she was running late and that no one would be at the front desk but she never said that she would NOT be there. I arrived at the spa at 12:37pm after receiving the message. The door to the spa was locked soI rang the bell and rang it again shortly after 1pm. At 1:23pm I went back to my car and called [redacted] and left a message that I was waiting outside and that Id stay a few minutes and leave. After not hearing from her I left. Since then, Ive still not heard from her. I find this to be an outrageous way to treat a prospective client. Id like a refund of my $160.Desired Settlement: I want a refund of the cost of the vouchers. A total of $160 ($80 each). I do not want spa services in exchange and I am very turned off by this establishment.
