Good Morning,In response to *** *** complaint, *** contacted me on 6/23/and told me had a small leak in a pipe on his hot tubHe asked right away for a quote for repair, with the limited information that he provided, I told him if it is a easy fix I should be able to get to it around
$I also told him if he wants to save money he could locate the leak or leaks and have them marked for meAt this point I told him I wanted to see the Leak or leaks to provide a solid estimate for him.*** told me he would want it done on Thursdays because that is the days he gets paid as he wanted to pay in cashI had *** scheduled on two different occasions and he canceled both due to not having the moneyUpon knowing that money was a big concern on his part getting paid prior to any repairs was a mustOn 7/21/I had *** Scheduled for inspection of the tub, *** was present upon my arrivalI was showed the leak and right away I told him that it is going to cost more and what direction he would like to proceedHe said he wanted it fixed with not saying there was a limit to what he was wanted to spendI cut out the section of plumbing that was cracked due to not winterizing the tub properlyAt this point *** told me don't worry about cleaning up because if it was going to save him money he would do the clean up and put the spa panel back onI told *** I need to take the section of Plumbing with to get a estimate/ invoice created for him*** Called the following week and I gave him the repair cost of $and he agreed to it the repair cost*** told me that he would not be there on the repair date due to having to work a overnight shift on 7/28/I told *** I need a credit card for the repair prior to starting, he provided me his wife's credit card and stated that if its over $is wife is going to be pissed, I told him the price again of $The invoice was generated at my office and if we need to make a change to it we would alter it with a new write in amountThe invoice was never changed by for the better or the worse, I provided more service than what this invoice detailedUpon finishing the job I noticed that the drain valve was cracked,so I noted on the invoice or door tag that I needed to get him a new oneI also left *** a Voice mail stating what amount was run on the card which was $I also cleaned up around the tub and swept any debris into the floor of the tub, and I left *** the old section of plumbing so he could compare on how detailed the job was done from myself to the Factory workI left the panel of due do the extreme vapors from the solvents and glue that were used, so the tub could air out and cure properlyDue to the comments that *** told me on 7/21/that he just wanted me to repair the leak or leaks and that he would clean up and put the Hot tub panel to save money that is how the tub was left*** did call me late on 7/29/to ask about the drain and the old part that was left for himI called him on Saturday to let him know about the drain and why the old part was left and why the panel was offHe asked if this something he could pick up and I stated that I could drop it of at his work in Elk River and he agreedHe told me he would text me the address and let me know where he was parked*** never texted me the address and on Monday Aug 1st he called and said oh I totally forgot to text you didn't I and I replied yesI told him it wasn't a big deal and that I would drive up on tuesday and install it on Aug 2nd which I did in the morningI never heard back from *** about any issues with the invoice or the Hot tub and on 9/6/I received notice of a Charge back from their credit card companyI called *** right away to ask why this was done and left him a message that this needs to be resolved or I will take actions to get payment*** did call back and said he was recording this call and I told him again I will be taking actions to get paymentChris's response was that his name is not on the house and the house and the credit card is in his wife's name so good luck with thatAt this time There is not a settlement amount that I would accept and will take actions to get payment for this now unpaid invoice.Thank you for your TimeJames ***
