This complaint should be directed to the appropriate party as spa world is not the manufacturer and cannot authorize warranty repair/replacement of the productArtesian Spas is the manufacturer and is solely responsible for determining if warranty coverage appliesThe customer agreed to
this in the original sales agreement they signed (attached). Spa world was contacted by the consumer and responded to their claim We sent a representative to photograph the reported issueWe submitted the information to Artesian Spas who has determined it is not a covered under their warranty (see attached)Their are no cracks in the spa shell as claimedThere are small micro defects below the top coat of the finish called micro crazingThis is usually cased by excessive heat being applied to the areaWhile we have no way of determining how it happened there is a window behind it that can throw a reflection when the sun hits it a certain times of the dayAs well one of the photos shows a table placed up against the spa just in front of the affected area that could be responsibleThere could have been something set on the spa that caused itIn any event micro crazing is specifically excluded from warranty coverageIt is very minor in nature, hard to see and does not render the product unusableIt certainly does not warrant replacement of the productI have already responded to this consumer directly and told them we have no way to override any decision the manufacture makes on warranty issues. We purchased a ECO-5 Spa a month ago, which is our first spa. I have to say, we enjoy it very much and are in it everyday.
