Regards,

Review: I was a resident of Space Properties in the Birches apts from 2007 - 2010. Apparently, I was a good tenant since they renewed my lease 3 times. At the end of the third year my roommate and I broke our lease following all guidelines and submitting the appropriate notice via Space's online portal. When turning in my keys I was assured that up until that point all known fees had been paid and I provided a forwarding address. In 2014 derogatory information in the amount of $220 appeared on my credit report from Space Properties. I never received any letter/notification regarding an outstanding balance from Space after move out, I never even received a single phone call and my contact number has been the same since the day I moved into their property until now. I called Space Properties and after several attempts I finally received a phone call back. When I asked what the fee of $220 was for I was told that they could not locate my records and were unable to provide any reason for the fee but they were aware that the balance existed. When I asked why I had not been contacted prior to their notifying the credit bureau they told me they sent notices. I asked them what address they sent these notices to and I was told they didn't have record of that. So with them unable to provide any reason for the fee I told them I wasn't comfortable making the payment. Now 1 year and 2 leases later my application to a new apt. complex is denied due to the only derogatory information on my credit report from Space. Even though I am still not comfortable making any payment to them I would rather have them out of my life. I have called multiple times a day over the past 2 weeks leaving multiple voice mails telling them that I want to make a payment and still have not received a return call. Also, after reading other Revdex.com complaints at this point I'm not confident that if I were to pay this supposed debt that Space would even report the payment to the credit bureau as they should.Desired Settlement: I would like Space Properties to return my calls, provide an invoice from the original issue date with an explanation of the fees owed, and proof of notifications sent. If fees are substantiated I would like a guarantee that upon payment Space Properties will provide the appropriate documentation to the credit bureau.

Review: I have repeatdly tried to contact Space properties and [redacted] in regards to my account with them. I recieved a judgement in 2012 and Paid the judgement in full by December 2012. Space properties has failed to provide the credit bureaus and [redacted] Courts with proper documentation of the judgement being satisfied. The business number refers to contacting them in writing and email ONLY!!!! Ive done so and have gotten no response. I would really appreciate the Revdex.com for doing something about this company before I have to take legal action against this company for failure to disclose destrimental information to public records for its ex tenants.Desired Settlement: A letter of judgement resolved effective immediately. Also report to all credit agencies.

Review: I left a message with administration through e-mail, asking someone to meet me before my lease was up today, April 30, 2015 to do a walk through of my apartment. I wanted to sign off on a walk through checklist, so we could get our deposit back. [redacted] told us at our lease signing that as long as we cleaned out the premises we would get our deposit back.

Someone from administration called me, (from a restricted number like always) and told me to meet them on the premises at 9am today to do the walk through. Needless to say, no one showed up. We waited on the premises until 9:45am. We received no phone call that they were going to be late or that no one wasn't coming. Of course we have no number to contact them on, besides the office number that no one ever answers!!!! You can only leave a message through calling the number or sending an e-mail that you can't save to document any information, and you can only send 200 characters. If they do contact you, they call you restricted to block their number so you can't contact them. Here it is 9:18pm and no one has called me. It is very frustrating!!!! They want their rent on time but they don't want to give you your money back on time. They don't want to show people respect who pay them rent every month. It is ridiculous!!!!

They are very unprofessional, and I feel like they are taking advantage of the less fortunate, and people who live on a fixed income.Desired Settlement: I want someone to do the walk through, but if that doesn't occur, we took pictures with the date and time on them. Also I want a phone call, an apology, and my deposit back within 30 days.

Regards,

Review: I leased a apartment from space property at summit pointe. While staying there my apartment [redacted] was broken into on Nov 20th 2013. I did not feel safe and management allowed me to break my least if I paid two months rent. I had already paid my rent for 6 months ahead and I never received my money back.Desired Settlement: I would love for space property to refund my money. I do not want to take it to court however it has been over a year.

I should have known better when signing the lease and left as fast as possible.
The management staff on the day of the lease signing was rude and treated me differently than they treated my roommate. My roommate was allowed to pay his deposit with a check, I was not. My roommate was able to skip providing all information necessary for a background check, I was not. My roommate would receive responses from the complex's management, I never once received a response. I do not want to level the claim of prejudice or racism in today's heated political climate with no regard, but I cannot help but think our cultures, races, and skin tones are responsible for the differing ways in which we were treated.
The living conditions are sub-par, close to slum-like. There are leaks, rampant mold, and pest infestations. The management is impossible to contact and unresponsive. The book keeping practices are antiquated, they insist payment only come in the form of check or money order; my guess is so that they can then claim to not have received payment. They will add items to your bill, sometimes without telling you. Calls to resolve any maintenance or money issue are not helpful and the website is the recommended means of communication. If you are lucky enough to receive a call back from management it is from a blocked number and the call is rushed and the caller is usually very rude.
After putting up with the atrocious conditions in the complex, paying all of our accounts on time, and having a successful exit inspection conducted, they are now charging for 2000$. We rented from them two years ago...
I cannot believe this company is allowed to still operate. The number of disputes regarding fraudulent charges should be enough to have their business license pulled.
They are con-artist, they steal, they provide a below standard product, and they are unapologetic in their dysfunction.
Will be opening a suit.

Review: In May of 2011 I moved into a apartment owned by space properties in Richmond VA and moved out in September of 2011. We paid the rent that was due for October and they kept our initial deposit of $1200. My husband and I have 4 collection notices that are now appearing on our [redacted] credit report. The 4 accounts total $1846, these appear on both my husbands and my credit report. 1st we never received anything about us owing them any additional (no call or no mail). 2nd we have an agreement with them at the time of move out they we did not owe them any additional amounts. We have tried 20 times withing the past year to contact this business and they will not return our call or email.Desired Settlement: Both mine and my husbands credit reports cleared of these fraudulent charges. AND written information as to why we was charged and why we cannot talk to someone about this issue.

Regards,

Review: I have had problems with this company since day one. There was an error on my lease initially and when I attempted to contact office staff by phone to correct it, I was ignored and never received a call back. When I visited the office, I was greeted by the owner and his dog stating "I'm not sure if I want to do business with you." I was told I could forfeit my security deposit and not move in or wait and move in once the apt was ready. I could not afford to forfeit my deposit so I moved in. I was a resident for one year at one of Space Properties townhomes. I travel frequently for work so I never furnished the apt and was rarely there. I gave notice that I would be relocating in October of 2010, paid my rent in full, and left the townhouse in the same condition that I rented it in. Sometime later, I received a notice from Space properties about damages to the apartment. I attempted to contact the office staff with no response. I filed a complaint in 2010 about the treatment and issues with this company. I recently received a notice stating that they had been trying to collect a debt? and wanted me to call their office immediately. I have called their office several times to attempt to clarify this situation as I do NOT owe them anything nor did I damage the townhouse and have pics to prove it. I also never received my security deposit back.Desired Settlement: I would like my security deposit back and my name cleared.

Review: [redacted] has failed to deliver my security deposit in the amount of $330.17. He has also failed to cooperate in writing a letter to potential apartment leaser explaining that I am not at fault for the theft of the money order taken by employee [redacted].Desired Settlement: I would like my letter with statement "[redacted] paid her rent on time and was not at fault which is the reason why the two court cases were dismissed." I would also like my check sent to the [redacted] so that I can be sure to pick it up myself and no other further discrepencies can accumulate and they will no longer hear anything else from me. If this doesn't happen, this matter will be taken to civil court where I will sue for more than the amount that is supposed to be paid

Review: [redacted] Prior to moving into [redacted] on April 18, 2013 into a two bedroom w/ 1/2bath. I was suppose to inspect properties, upon inspecting properties, there where several non-prioperty maintenace that [redacted] gave me an inspection completion sheet on. This inpection completion sheet that was filled out with all repairs and damages that needed repairs where handed into leasing office on the same day as move in date April 18, 2013, was informed to turn in all non-priority request onto [redacted] or SPACEPROPERTY.net. It took a week later to enter in request. Amoung the many damages and things to be reparied, non was completed or attempted other than the maintenance man's replacement of blinds in one of the bedroom, in which the installed blind holder was damaged and the blinds replace was coming out of the holder. Informed the maintenance man at the time, that this blind will fall down and it will not fix the whole problem as the installed piece needed to be replaced or repaired. He informed me that he will turn the information in to leasing office. Needless to say, when I inquired about my other request, I was told that the office will call me, but they are aware of my problems. In the month of May, I did not hear anymore about the non-priority request and turned in another request online, in the whole month of May, turned in about three request. By the month of June, still had not heard anything from Apartment complex on maintenace reqpaires, turned in another up to three request on three different times. In the month of July still hadn't heard anything from Leasing office about non-priority repaire. Turned in another two request in month of July. In the month of August, turned in another two request on two different times. Towards the month of August, I became concerned and alarm and felt that I was being ignored purposely, turned in a letter to the leasing agents through mail slots, I do not like any kind of confrontation that could get hostile or escalate into negative correspondence. I did however feel unprotected as this could result in bad communication. I became so alarm to the point of safety that I decieded to change my locks, until I move out. I made up my mind that since I was being purposly ignored with my maintenance request that originated since the move-in date of contract. All the repairs where not something I could easily fix without the fear of litigation as this property was not mines. The request for repair included a broken refrigerator slide in tray, three broken blinds, one blind in the bathroom with a missing rod in the bathroom, one bedroom with a broken blind and broken installed blind holder, the kithen blinds had broken fragments all through the blinds, both blinds in the living room although not broken where very old and rusted where the metal part had been. In the living room there was a brown sitting stain that appeared as if there had been water leakage that left the stain as big as 1.5ft in diameter all around. The bathroom linolin had stain and was woren out and had places around the parimeters of the wall where it had lifted off the ground. It had spaces inside the gound into the linolin. The apartment floor and kithen appeared to have dirt on it, which I did clean. The kithen linolin had cuts close to where the refrigerator is and I noted this all on the Inspection sheet I recieved during the inspection of the apartment, all this I was informed would have been taken cared off. Needless to say, in the month of September, I stop payment on my lease, I became so unsatisfield with the company's neglect to repair these things. I became deeply worried and afraid that the best action was to move out and let bygones be bygones. I was asked to place a two month security deposit on my apartment prior to move in, I did not know how to collect on my security deposit, I did however feel that [redacted], would want me to lose this money on issues that they caused. I did feel that this was done purposly to me and moving out was better to reduce any hostility on my part as I now felt that they wanted to blame me for repairs that they never even attempted to fix.Desired Settlement: The amount of $3,000.00 they are claiming I owe is hipposterious. I think they are either mentaly gaming me or I need some type of explanation as to why they felt they did not need to repair or attempt any repair or how they felt this was my fault. I am wanting to know how they think I should be held responsible, when I continue to turn in request upon request that they never did anything on but now claim, I owe to them. I am requesting this amount to be redistributed back to them, as I did nothing to cause the amount, with the exception of the bedroom door that my daughter had placed glue to put some paper painting on the door of the closet and room door, but even this, did not amount up to anthing over the $900.00 repair cost. I am also not sure what the itemized repairs they are charging is, but I do know that this does not make sense.
