I am rejecting this response because :We have proof that we are still owed $300 for work not done to the inside of our house. Sending the copy of original item. Salesperson spoke by cell phone to his "Boss", then told us for an additional $300, they would do the inside section. We chose not to have this done when the outside was being done. Therefore, the inside part was paid for and we request that $300 be returned to us.

JULY 26, 2015Spade Crete investigated this matter with the sales person, the contractor, and the inspector. Here is what we found.1) In regards to discussions with the salesperson... The original job was a minimum price job for the project. Even if a smaller amount of work was done, the price...

would have been the same. When the job was finished, Ben B[redacted] signed off that the job was completed in full to his satisfaction. No mention was made of the $300.00 refund until he called in with a warranty claim. 2) In regards to discussions with the contractor... When the contractor was there doing the job, he would’ve gladly done the additional small area that was in the contract. Ben B[redacted] told him that he didn't want it done because he was afraid of the dust that may be created. There was no discussion regarding a $300 refund.3) In regards to the inspection of the warranty claim... This was caused by one of the slabs moving (expansion and contraction). The area in question had a gutter spout bringing water from the roof, with the water going underneath the slab. Freezing then occurred. Mrs. B[redacted] was never quoted a price of $1,125.00 to fix this work, but was quoted a price to do a clean and seal, and the repair work could be fixed at the same time at no additional charge. Mrs. B[redacted] was informed that this could most likely be a yearly occurrence unless they change their drainage system. No refund is due.
