Review: I hired Spa Man, Inc. to come out and repair my spa. He showed up on 5/2/2013 for the first time. After a couple of minutes, he determined that I needed a new circuit board. He advised me that he would check on the price and get back to me. He called me roughly a week later to inform me that the board would cost $600.00. I sent him a check for the amount of $600.00 for the board, and he told me he should have it in about 1 week. From that point to this present day he was supposed to fix the spa. He scheduled the repairs 8 different times and cancelled on all of them (his cancellations were due to several different reasons). Finally, on Monday, July 1, 2013 he showed up to do the repairs. After about 2 hours, he informed me that needed a new heater. Even after the new circuit board was placed, my spa is still not operational. I understand the heater issue, however, the LED lighting and the stereo still is not working. He presented me with a bill of approximately $1000.00. As I reviewed the bill, I notice that part of the cost was for the spa pack (circuit board), which I had already paid for back on May 14, 2013. He showed that cost again on the receipt which caused the tax cost to increase. I tried to explain to him that the only things that should be on the receipt was, the cost for his service today ($280.00) and the taxes on that amount ($16.80), making the total $296.80 and not the $351.88 he charged me.Desired Settlement: I should only have to pay $296.80 at tops. However, I don't feel that I should have to pay that because my spa is still non-operational. Additional note - I have stopped payment on the check that was issue this date for the amount of $351.88.
