WE BOUGHT BACK HER CAR AND GAVE HER 800.

To whom it may concern,               In reference to the complaint on a 97 [redacted] with 144 thousand miles on it! We sold the...

vehicle off our back row and she bought it AS-IS! With that said we got her right in and diagnosedthe problem and we financed part of the bill to help her out! In the meantime the vehicle has been traded and we're forgiving her 204 balance. I believe the issue is resolved and hopefully all is ok!                                      ... Respectfully,                                 ...         Donald L[redacted]

Spanky and Frankys is the biggest ripoff auto dealer in Pa. Mthey sold my son a car that neded a new motor in a little over a month. Spankys says im on my own. We purchased the extended warranty and they denied any claims stating lack of lubrication even though three mechanics said it did in fact have lube. I can send all proof and all documentation

Review: I purchsed a [redacted] 300 from Spankys Auto Group LLC.on 10/21/2013. I put a down payment of 952.00 cash and traded in a [redacted]. [redacted] , the owner of Spankys, then informed me that he needed more money towards the down payment and he instructed me to post date three checks in order to settle the remaining balance, so I did. **. [redacted] tried to cash the first post dated check and it bounced for NSF. He contacted me and I tried to make good by paying the 600.00 for the check that bounced and [redacted] wouldnt accept it.On november 18 the car got repossessed by Spankys. He sent me a certified letter stating I had to pay 1590.oo by dec 3 2013 or the vehicle would be resold. I called Attorney [redacted] he called and spoke with [redacted] and [redacted] said balance of 1590.00 must be paid in full by 12/3/2013 or he was reselling the car and it would be a repossession on my credit. so I went to Spankys on November 19th 2013. Owner [redacted] would not speak to me he had another salesman [redacted] handle the payment. [redacted] at that point advised me of the amount due as being $1590 due by 12/3/13.On 12/26 I went back to the dealership spankys and tried to make good on the balance $1590, [redacted] then took the payment I asked to speak to **.[redacted] in order to have his word that there was only one payment and it was due on 12/31 for $500.He would not speak to me and stated that if I needed to have my lawyer contact him.I then finished the transaction with [redacted] asked for a copy of everything that goes along with this loan as well as any paperwork I signed that had to do with this payment and the downpayment as well as the trade-in. I was givin a small packet of papers and told this was the only paperwork that they had in my file and the loan with Credit acceptance was still owed. I left the dealership thinking all issues were resolved. As of 12/20 the issue has gotten worse I have yet again had to mciss time at work and lose of wages. To add insult I found out **.[redacted] had canceled my loanDesired Settlement: I want the funds I have spent of 958.00 plus 1590.00 cash and the car I traded in .

Dear Sir,

[redacted] did come in on 10/21/13 to purchase a vehicle. He had been in and out for 3 weeks looking at the vehicle and was fully aware of the list we gave him of stips he'd need to satisfy the finance co. for there requirements. How ever when he showed up to get his car he neglected to bring everything in and he signed off that he would get it ASAP which he refused to do and he still needs I believe proof of residence,,,Once he got the car he'd never ans. his phone bounced a check didn't have ins, when he first picked it up ! After many attempts to find him I called his work and all he wanted to do was tel! me he was gonna have me arrested for calling his work... Well the reason I was calling was to tell him he blew off his first payment and was weeks behind and they have a first payment default! which means if the miss that 1st payment the contract is not in force and the loan agreement goes back to the dealer and I can’t lend him the money for a car...

He choose to verbally abuse me and hang up/not ans my calls not return messages etc.,.

Now I’m the bad guy ??? he had the vehicle 7 wks and choose to be exactly the way I described.. I have many witnesses customers to his and her foul mouth threating gestures loud screams by her...I never got a nickel from the bank because of there refusal to abide by there contract...When we got the vehicle it was trashed like nothing I’ve seen inside and out.,..They never met there contractual obligations to fufill the banks needs so I could get paid, they choose to play games and hide and ignore us,.

We truly tried very hard to get paid... WHY wouldn't we... we wanted to sell why would we do anything remotely like that ? I did not cancel any loan there in action and 1st payment default is why they fed-ex the contract back to the dealership,.,.

Yes Attorney [redacted] did call and after a lengthily conversation about the facts I certainly felt he had a good grasp of our conversation...

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:

As [redacted] unknowingly failed to admit is that I never once looked at the car that I purchased. It was a last min choice since they were having such a hard time getting me into the actual automobiles I had first sought to purchase. As I may have failed to remitt in my previous complaint. He is correct I had been in and out of his establishment for months then decided that something wasn't right about how the business was run. No one seemed to stay employed there for long. I was tossed around to 3 different sales agent, no one knew the price of vehicles, so I decided to look else where. I had found a mini van but we decided to go back to spankys to try once more and see what they had on the lot. the final rep I spoke with was by far the nicest yet he was the newest. I believe he was only at the business for 4 days then we were thrust upon him. As for bouncing a check I admitted that I had over drawn my acct. I was then contacted at my place of business several times by [redacted] himself and as he sadly has misrepresented himself. I DO COLLECTIONS EVERYDAY. If I had as he said called to simply say I missed a payment then I most assured would not have gotten loud on the phone at work. Untrue to his statement I never got loud or rude with him. fortunately for me calls are recorded when they come into my business. which and on more than 3 occasions [redacted] called into my place of business and divulged personal info to coworkers , as well as management. he was told that I am not allowed to have personal calls at work. yet he repeatedly bothered me at work until I ws finally able to speak to him. in which he told me that if I don't pay him his money he will simply come get the car and no one would believe me it was his word against mine, In dealing with this issue. He was untrue in the statement that I never picked up my phone. Sadly [redacted] failed to inform you that he had sent numerous text messeges back and forth to my gf some late into the night almost 2am . I believe he even sent her a messege stating that he no longer wanted to deal with us and we were to have an attorrney call him. this was after the moment that he had first repossesed the vehicle stating that I had bounced a check. now if he hasn't told u that he gave me 15 days to make the check right. That was what I did as per the attorney. he then turned around and stated that there was only a debt of $500 that was still owed because I had provided all information 3-4 times over.[redacted] was told that he was not to cash any further checks because I was informed that it was illegal to post date a check in the state of PA. so I explained I would bring in the money personally. Well after the first repo I had called the [redacted] and explained to them that I would be making a double payment or at least making up for my first missed payment because it was not even due. yet the credit acceptance told me I had an active loan AND THEY HAD NO REPO ORDER sent out so I was to call the dealer. I then explained that my first payment would be late because I now had no vehicle and was not sure where it was because I was actually at work at the time of the first repo. So unknowingly to [redacted] I called the bank at a second repo because I did not think that they were the ones to send a repo. I asked they stated that I had an active loan and I owed the $13000 dollars but if it was cancelled by the dealer, in which case they would not be on my credit report because they didn't cancel it because I was more than 1 payment behind I had only missed the one payment. As for [redacted]s claims of foul language and threats I was professional and nice until myself and my lady were disrespected, and then talked to as if we were not the customer and trying to purchase a vehicle from this man. Not only by one of his former employees who he had let go after this incident. In which the same day I put up moneys from my debit card as well as gave them cash before I was allowed to walk out of the business. Not only do I now have no car. I am still out money and will continue to be until I am properly compensated for all I have lost in dealing with the likes of this scam artist and crook. I have spoken to former employees ans well as looked up previous cases in which [redacted] had done the same thing to other people. I reject this because I really feel that **. [redacted] is using his position as a business owner to take advantage of people that are other wise unable to get a vehicle. sadly I am not one of those ppl I came up with more than $3000 in a months time if not less time. so for [redacted] to say I was playing games I would NOT have gone to such lengths to keep the car ands pay off what I owed him. Everything dealing with this vehicle did not sit right with me but like most ppl I truely needed a car. I had been renting cars for over a month because I was looking for a car and could not afford to miss work. which I was made late as well as had to call off and use vacation time as well as I am now on prohbation and have lost wages due to this. myself as well as my family had spent well over the latter part of a full work week in the spankys office in order to get the vehicle back. I was not nor am I trying to get over on anyone. But I do believe in the justice system and I am willing to fight this out because not only did I but my family has suffered to the I had no money to buy presents at christmas because I had given all my extra money to spanky's. If I where trying to make him out to be the bad guy I would have asked for the car back and to own his business which im sure I could run much better and have approval from the Revdex.com,but I simply want what is right. he now also owns a car that has been in my family since 1999. I am not trying to be unfair or take his business I just want justice and to be repaid for the pain and now the challenging of my character as a bill payer. If [redacted] would have taken the first offer to simply reverse the contract before any payments where due then this all could have been avoided. He stated that he could not do so it was the bank that had to yet the bank told me that the dealer was the one that had to reverse it because I owed them now. Simple and plain I reject the statement made by [redacted] and want justice for the consumer.

Regards,

Review: First off, everything they company told me about my car was a lie. First thing as soon as I drove the vehicle off the lot, the fuel injection system went out. They tried to charge me for the repairs. Second, they keep changing my monthly bill for my car without my consent or signature. They lost all documentation of the agreement and will not cooperate with obtaining any form of documentation. Also, they could never fix whatever was making my check engine light to come on, but as soon as my warranty expired, they figured what was wrong amd wanted to charge me full price of the repair. Even though the issue was going on during the warranty. They just cleared the code and said nothing was wrong. Then later on a major component, my serpentine belt broke in which they told me it was replaced before I purchased it and will not answer any of my calls nor does anyone want to help me resolve this issue. They just pass me around between phone calls and is not giving me a definite answer.Desired Settlement: What I desire is just a good working car that I dont have to pay 1000 each month on repairs. This car has been in the shop more than ive had it within the 6 months I've had the car. I just want either everything fixed once and for all or a new car with nothing wrong with it. I have never experienced a business that sells a car that has issues with it and force their customers to pay for the repairs from day one issues.

Good afternoon,

In response to this complaint ! the 2000 [redacted] conv. was purchased on 8/14/13 with 124229 miles on it !

and traded one vehicle a 89 [redacted]... We most certainly didn't lie and that's a personal attack and if he truly feels

that way why would you continue to bring your vehicle back for regular service to our co. ? That he feels lied to him ?????

We didn't lose copy's of all documents, however he may have ? See exhibit A clearly states his payment !!!!!!!!! He got a copy

of all his paper work !!! We purchased him a service contract at our expense so he'd be covered by a outside vendor.

Why wouldn't we of wanted to fix his car and get paid for it by someone else ??? it make no logical sense.. He knew

what he was buying a 15 year old convertible (A [redacted] AT THAT) with 124k on it ! Anyone who can google knows they

are a on going maintaince item and you have to love them or leave them ! there a summer time toy not a full time driver...

I'm in the office EVERY DAY 8 to 6 mon. thru fri. sat 9 to 5 and sunday 10 to 3 so don't tell me we're not answering the phone !

He bought the car 7 mo. ago with a 3 month 4500 (EXHIBIT B) warranty that if something goes wrong with his vehicle under warranty

WE get PAID to fix it so why would we not ??????????? we did give him definitive answer. That at this point it's your car and you'll need to fix it

So if we're all he says we are why entrust in us to continually fix his car ??? We did just replace his serpentine BELT which clearly is a maintaince

item and just a belt not a major component. I believe the facts speak for them selves...

1 He bought a car with out doing research as to it's habits !

2 His memory and truthfulness is suspect since I'm here everyday and we have the documents he claims we don't have...

3 he now wants out of his summer time car in the middle of the winter, Hmmm I would to !

4 HE STATES HE'S SPENT 1000 A MONTH IN REPAIS again Hmmm Where are they ? That would be 7000 ???

5 Is the original buyers order HE signed ????? EXHIBIT C

6 please see his ins. card he has several cars and knows what he is doing ! EXHIBIT D

7 His original temporary registration... EXHIDIT E

8 EXHIBIT F was found in his financing folder ! this is his original work sheet we use to gather information and address

sale price and payments. As you can see our story is consistent !

9 Now how about those 7 thousand dollars in repair bills ? Please produce even 1/2 of what you allege !

Anyways in closing I wish him the best...

Review: My wife and I submitted an online financing application for a 04 navigator at Spankys Auto Group. We had been in touch with a gentleman by the name of [redacted] who had sent us videos and pictures of the vehicle. He told us we were approved through there financial institute they go through but we had to put $3,500 down and we stated we would either be flying out there or shipping the vehicle to us if there were other options available. He said he would see if there were other institutes for financing available and get back to us. We never received a phone call back but instead an email saying the vehicle was sold after they had already pulled our credit affecting our credit scores tremendously. I called and tried to talk with a manager and I was hung up on by the salesman who I had been speaking with repeatedly trying to finalize the sale of the vehicle I wanted.Desired Settlement: I would like this incident on required for others to know how poorly this company handles business. I would also like my personal information destroyed.

Review: I purchased an [redacted] at this dealership, with in the first 2 months the car had been in the shop 3 times. Each time they stated it was fixed. Never was. I ended up taking it to my own shop and paying out of pocket to fix it myself only to find out the engine was bad. I had brought it to their attention and was brushed off. Had their shop fixed the actual problem the bad engine would have been seen. When I brought the documentation to them I was 200 miles over. They denied helping me at all. I was just strung along till the short warranty ran out. I was never offered a longer warranty. Come December the engine completely blew it is no longer able to be driven. Spankys has been contacted by myself numerous time. I was told that they wanted to verify a bad engine in their shop and then we would talk numbers. This has gone on for 4 weeks. Now owner states he will do nothing and I was told the towing bill was my responsibility although I have 2 different shops stating the engine is shot. But in order to have them help me I agreed to have them look at it, with no cost to me. I contacted them MANY times getting the run around then finally the last call I made to them and actually spoke to the owner, he asked me not to call anymore, he has a business to run. What about customer service??? Then to top that off the call I made and finally got him one other time he ended up telling me he will not do anything for me and called me a [redacted], then hung up.Desired Settlement: The engine replaced with no cost to me, or take the car back pay the loan off and I will just take the hit of what I have paid towards that vehicles repair and payments.

To whom this may concern,

On 4/11/13 the [redacted] did come in to look at an 04 [redacted] and we let them take it over night and they liked it however the check engine light came on !

which we re-set the light since it showed the o2 sensor was not set properly that we replaced and I believe it did happen again ! there hard to set on some veh. some time...

they keep equating the check engine light with the start of a motor issue...A far as the warranty goes we have no reason to string anyone along ! There warranty's

we purchase on all our veh. we sell for situations just like this... I truly believe there not quite up to speed on how a purchased warranty by us works...The cost to fix there

vehicle would have no bearing financially !!! Accept the warranty co. would pay us to do the work.. Over the last 2 weeks she has called 44 times ! Come by 5 times and harassed myself my employees/customers etc. They actually even called the police who told them to leave ! Her husband would sit around the waiting room with his sunglasses on for 4 and 5 hours at a time till we had to ask/convince him to leave. there actions made us realize what we we're dealing with ! we truly tried...one other thing

they failed to mention the huge overheating issue with the 09 [redacted] they traded ! the same one that let my daughter sit on the [redacted] expressway this summer on her way to vacation with her husband.......... finally when she realized she did have to pay her tow bill

she brought in a sandwich bag of change plopped it on the counter and said that's all she had... later on she went to the sales office for about the 5th time balling profusely

not able to catch her breath because her car wouldn't start, well in a few days she forgot which key started the car ! my sales mgr. had to help her and show her which key starts

her car...
