This bill was being paid by a prior owner of the house. There was nothing hidden about the charges. Our fees are current with the market rates and a call to any cleaning service will verify that. We do not have any bait and switch practices. The cleaning in question on 2/**/14, we had 2 ladies work from 12:30pm until 3:45pm. We billed for 6 man hours for a total of $180 plus tax.

We would never have accepted the service if they told us it was per person per hour. We specifically asked when we signed up what they would charge per hour. If they were honest upfront we would have went to someone else. They also charged previous owner $100 per cleaning which is what we expected to pay, which was confirmed by this business when we contacted them.
We offered to pay them what we agreed to when we originally spoke to them.

Review: We hired this cleaning service as they were used by the prior owners of our home after we purchased the home. The prior owners then told us they had a billing dispute with them because they felt they were overcharged for the final cleaning which we should've taken as a warning. So we called this cleaning company for a routine cleaning of our home about a month later and they quoted us over the phone $30 an hour for the cleaning, which we agreed to. They sent two individuals to clean our house and I took them about 3 hours and they left. We called the schedule a follow up cleaning and to pay our balance. They said the prior balance is 195.53 which floored us. They said it is $30 an hour per person, which they never mentioned. I said I would only pay what we agreed to and they said they would send this to collections if we didn't pay the 195.53. Not only is this a complete bait and switch job now they are trying to strong arm us. Plus in speaking to other cleaning companies and neighbors locally they all said that $195 is absurd to charge clean a house.Desired Settlement: I would like for them to honor the original price of $30 an hour which I will gladly pay and not try to price gauge and bait switch me and future customers.
