That didn't happen because the termite control and appraisal still had to be doneSo we waited and waited and then finally it was back to waiting for the underwriter just to find out they wouldn't finance a bedroom home We were very upset because everyone knew that's what it was from the startWe actually went back changing our bedroom home into a bedroom because we were told we could get financed thenWell the end of the story was, we were suppose to have the appraiser out again and then things would be fineThe appraiser never came back and we never heard back from ***, the person who did all the paperwork
Low-balled appraisal, then dropped me for no reason
I have no idea how this business maintains a Revdex.com A+ ratingI went to them for a home refinanceEverything went OK at first...then the problems startedThey got my address wrong and I had to go back to re-sign paperwork...I got a letter from the bank saying I didn't have hazard insurance, so someone at 1st Family must have canceled it...I was late for October's payment after being ASSURED that we would close and I could skip the paymentMy home "appraised" for $83,and I had to pay $out of pocketThree months later I had another appraisal (for another mortgage company) and it came in at $90,There's NO WAY the value went up $in months...1st Family's appraiser was either totally inept or low-balled it ON PURPOSE
I could never get any answers from the mortgage agent through phone, text or emailHe just went silent on meVERY UNPROFESSIONAL
Not thorough about credit qualifications. Very rude and disrespectful people. Fraudulent ads, radio commercials and TV commercials. Horrible experience.
I delt with him, almost 30 times in 3 months, driving down my credit score. I found this out by opening my one credit monitoring account. He was supposed to be helping me repair MY credit, instead he was lowering my score. I was a first time home buyer, and when I questioned he about it he denied it although I could clearly see on [redacted] that every time I called him , he would so a hard pull on my credit and my score would drop a few points. The lender I work with after him, would do a soft pull and, not affect my score. I since been informed that the lower score a lender can get approved the bigger their bonus. :-(
