I would never recommend SPARK Orthodontics to anyone They do not treat their patients with respect or courtesy They are rude and the office is not ran efficiently They say they have a Doctor there all of the time but they do not My son has gone there for one year and only saw a doctor twice, DrH*** once at the consult, of course, and another Doctor conveniently at the consult for my daughter All of the "Sparkologists" (technicians) do the workNow, at the consult for my daughter, SPARK gave me a quote of $ I had told them my son is a patient already I am on a payment plan for $ Do I not receive any kind of reduction because my son is already a patient and they flat out said, No I asked why would her care be more than his when they basically had the same teeth issues? And once again their response was, No About a week later when I decided not to send my daughter there because that was way too expensive and go somewhere else, they contact me to say, We will do it for the same cost as your son's At that point, I declinedIt is all about money with SPARK, DrH***During my one-year experience with DrH*** and his office, If he was having problems w/ a bracket or a wire, they would never return a call back to even try to get him in to help the situation In fact, they would have a fake recording saying "Our Sparkologists" are in training", when in actuality they weren't even in the office The office was closed If you then called the emergency line, they still would not return a call back for hours but when they did, their solution to the problem was that I cut the wire and connect it to the next bracketThe straw that broke the camel's back was on a Friday, I'm trying to contact them because he was having problems w/ a wire and bleeding in his mouth I tried calling from 8am(three times), left messages No return call I finally called the "emergency line" and they did not want to make accommodations and have him come in and be seen So when I said this is not acceptable, she said I will have someone call you back Well, I received a call back from someone who said to me, Is it really important that I come in to the office to see him because I am watching my son's puppy Of course, my response to her was, yes, it is necessary for you to see him because it is Friday and he cannot go through a weekend in discomfort, so reluctantly she did comeNow he gets there and she cuts the wire and removes brackets, not one, but three brackets They never called me the following Monday to say, hey, your son needs to get in hereHe's missing brackets and they need to get put back on It wasn't until I called a week later and said, he's missing bracketsWhat are you going to do about this? And her response was, oh, I guess we should get him in here They were going to wait three weeks until he came to his next scheduled visitI'm frustrated at this point and dissatisfied, so I scheduled a consult with another Orthodontist and what a surprise that was The Orthodontist that looked at him said he is wearing his first wire and his bite is off; he's missing brackets and he has bumpers on his teeth which aren't doing anything because the bite isn't where it should be and the bumpers are worn out At this point, my son had his braces on for one year and still had his first wire on I can't even explain what they were doing with him because he was showing no progressI then proceed to call SPARK to ask for a refund of my money because he needs to start all over and SPARK says to me, I need to audit your account Well, about a week later, I receive a call from DrH*** himself and he says to me what is your dissatisfaction? I proceed to tell him and his response was, "I can have him out of braces in six months!" Now remember, the consulting Orthodontist says, he has at least two years of brace wear to get his teeth where they should be My response to DrH*** is, You will not rush him through What kind of Orthodontics professional standard is that ! When I tell him I want a refund, he says his financial manager will contact me It took two weeks for a response after that phone call and here is the end result of how DrH*** (SPARK) handled this complaint He sends me a certified letter and this is how it read, "Dear MsS------
"As follow up to your conversation with our office and DrH***, we have transferred Zack's orthodontics records to Dr-----Upon review of the account, treatment charges rendered to date equal $3900.00; total paid is $ Therefore, we are not issuing a refund and we are considering the account closed."
Well thank you SPARK, DrH*** !!
It's all about the money at SPARK, DrH***, not about quality or performance and especially professional orthodontics standards! He's worried about opening business all over Pennsylvania and having his "Sparkologists", technicians do the work! I would never recommend SPARK, DrH*** He obviously does not care about quality!

Now, at the consult for my daughter, SPARK gave me a quote of $6200. I had told them my son is a patient already. I am on a payment plan for $5500. Do I not receive any kind of reduction because my son is already a patient and they flat out said, No. I asked why would her care be more than his when they basically had the same teeth issues? And once again their response was, No. About a week later when I decided not to send my daughter there because that was way too expensive and go somewhere else, they contact me to say, We will do it for the same cost as your son's. At that point, I declined.

It's all about the money at SPARK, Dr. H[redacted], not about quality or performance and especially professional orthodontics standards! He's worried about opening business all over Pennsylvania and having his "Sparkologists", technicians do the work! I would never recommend SPARK, Dr. H[redacted]. He obviously does not care about quality!
